Paper submission at Abuja VFS on 30th April, 2018.
Medical call on May 25th, 2018.
Medicals done at Abuja Clinics on May 28th, 2018.
Medicals passed on June 19th, 2018.(It took Abuja clinics two weeks to submit my results, so you should not use them if you're in a hurry)
I linked my application online and when i checked today, my final decision is showing 'application approved'.
Up until yesterday background check and eligibility were still under review.

Documents submitted:
Admission letter to the University of Victoria, MSc Electrical Engineering
Transcript, Frist Class Honours, Elect.Elect Engineering Covenant University
Bank statements of mum and dad
Dads employement letter-GM in NHIS
Mums employment letter-Acting DM in NNPC
Travel history to Dubai, USA, and the UK.
No valid foreign visa(all expired last year)
3 landed documents
Police certificate
NYSC certificate
No SOP

For all those still waiting for their TRV to be approved, delay isn't a denial.

Please can I ask, is it a must that I have to submit a medical report with my docs at the embassy.

You don’t need to worry about that, just wait for a decision is what is the most important. Your profile is not static, but a moving target and goes through a lot of administrative changes, some you might notice, others you might not because it happens and changes within 24hours . You won’t notice unless you check everyday. Your background check usually starts with processing, then goes to not applicable and stays there for a long time. Then it goes to processing again just when eligibility review has started. It then ends in completed. Good luck!

I hope we’ll all fulfill our TRV hopes & subsequent dreams in the coming future.

Lol, not fire-proof, bulletproof!! People are approved all the time with no SOP. This isn’t the second time. In fact it is a trend by now that some smart person looking to be approved, might just not even include SOP in their next application. It’s like the VOs attribute no SOP submission as a sign of non desperation.

It depend on the mail you send them. Did you put URGENT as the subject?and did you include all your details?

Looking at the profiles of people getting approved without SOP, at least two or more of the following are common.

- First Class
- Top School
- UK, USA, Dubai, Canada Visa
- Very strong financial background. People with cool millions to their names.

We all know the grounds of Visa application refusal. The four above arguably answers ALL the conditions.

If you are unsure of your case, don’t play yourself. Please add whatever you think you need to to have a very strong case.

I thought I was the only one, same response I received too, was it lagos immigration office that replied you?, cos I sent to the email London office( online app) and twas lagos that replied. Application will be 12weeks on monday.

No worry, it is not about the size of the dog but the size of the fight in the dog. let us go proverbial na.
