What if they were shot while trying to run. I know there're innocent people who could be falsely accused like we see happen daily by the police. But we can't keep assuming that all the accused are innocent. I know a family friend who works with SHELL(SPDC) Porthacourt;he had to relocate to somewhere else from eleme petrochemical area,just because of cultists and kidnappers.

It is a common trend now for our law enforcement agents to be the judge, jury and executioner in matters that should always be handled by the interpretation of the law, no body has the right to take the life of another one, NOBODY! except with the pronouncement of an appropriate judicial set up. There are several stories of people arrested alive, well and healthy and once in the captivity of our police, they turn up dead all shot up and labelled armed robbers, kidnappers and terrorists with arms displayed by their side and claims that they died during the exchange of gunfire with security agents. a very recent and viral story happened in Cross River State a few months back (5 people were arrested and pictures of them taken being removed from their residence, unarmed and without any weapons, a picture of them sitting on the floor handcuffed at the police station was snapped by people, the next day their dead bodies were on display as kidnappers who were killed in an exchange of gunfire with police)

There are to many damaged and demented individuals supporting this kind of injustice and extra judicial killings being perpetrated by our law enforcement agents. Where is our humanity? Civilizations ought to make us better not keep us in the state of barbarism we uphold so vocally like most of the peeps who up here are spewing rubbish against @gidgiddy

There is an unwritten rule for our Anti-cult, Anti-kidnap and SARS units to summarily execute anyone linked to crime without following due process of the law, a lot of innocent people who have no connection have had to pay the price for being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Let me tell you something, when you become as bad as the criminals you are against, then there is no difference between you and them.

I'm not against our security agents going after criminals, bringing them to book and even gunning down the armed ones. What I'm against is when a criminal suspect is captured alive then killed by the same security agents. That is murder and cannot support murder by anybody.

If we encourage this sort of thing, nothing stops the same security agents from picking up you or I, gunning us down, putting a few guns by our dead bodies, and claiming we are kidnappers.

We will be too dead to defend ourselves.
