This is not funny at all, as your wife's case is exactly same with my wifey. The school said they had replied on Monday and this is Friday, yet no show/update in her profile to show that WES has received confirmation from her school.
Wifey don check her profile tired, she is so so pissed. Na God go help most of our niaja schools.

Is the email WES is sending the verification mail to correct? Plead with WES to forward a copy of the mail sent to them to you or they should resend and put you in copy. Then follow up with OOU quoting the date and time the mail was sent. Plead OOU to check their junk/spam mail as well.

I did exactly that, she said she checked SPAM already. I gave her my reference number, name, date email was sent. I'm just really tired and can't figure out what the problem is.

Please I need your advise on which NOC to use for my express entry. I used to work as a Field Engineer (NOC Code 8232) in Nigeria for 4.7 years but I left my job in 2016. Since 2016 till now, roughly 2 years, I have been working as a graduate teaching assistant (NOC Code 4012) in an American University.
Please guide me on which NOC to use. For the first job, I have been out of the job for over 2 years now. On the other hand, for the second job, I have just about 2 years.

A friend informed me that I cannot apply for express entry using a job code if one is already 6 months out of that job. Is this valid? I am just trying to make sure I do the right thing here.

Kindly advise.

Mine wasn't this difficult at all. Why is Nigeria so different?? Even it was not until I called the lady before she told me that they have received it. Now since Monday, they have replied WES (according to them). Abi, email should be the fastest now. The funniest part is for each stages, I am paying her.

It may take from two weeks to forever. You may want to either go there to intimate them or get a contact at the registrars office (3rd Floor I think). But in all, you need someone to talk to them to get it done faster.
and NO, you dont have to pay any other fee to get it done. Hope it helps

Is there an additional fee I need to pay to Unilag? My transcript has been sent to WES but Unilag is yet to verify my result.

No they are not...they must have done it, it happened to some of us. You may need to chill a bit. In my own case, what i did was to send a direct message to WES on twitter. and my update came in about an hour after. You may want to do that too.

Am so disappointed with my IELTS result LRWS
1st attempt 7.5,7.5,7,8 (3rd march 2018)
2nd attempt 7.5, 8, 7, 7.5 (7th July 2018)

I refuse to be sad, in everything give thanks.All thanks to God, I will do it again for the very last time Gods grace. congrats to all my e-fam that aced their ielts and to those that didnt get it this time, we will come out victorious in the next try. we fall to rise again. thanks to everyone that have been contributing to this thread. I have a question. Is there anyone here who finished from AMBROSE ALLI UNIVERSITY and has verified with WES? How long did it take for them to respond to WES request to verify your documents? One thing i know is that school is on another level when it has to do with "exams n records"

Congratulation to you. I have been off Nairaland for months. Glad to read that your IQAS report is ready and that you have as well received your ITA and now AOR.

you actually encouraged me to go with IQAS,hopefully,sooner or later,my wife's own will be ready too and we shall get our own ITA. Its 7 weeks now IQAS sent the second email to confirm that all documents are received and that her evaluation shall commence.

I am not sure the school has replied wes, the person helping you is deceiving you. The same thing happened to me but i kept calling the guy thrice in a day and when he was tired of my calls he handed me over to the officer in charge of verification. My status was updated 1hour after the officer confirmed he has replied wes and i was sent a copy of the verification letter via email.

Can you help me out with writing strategy? I see you had band 7 in both attempts. It's my second attempt and still stuck at 6.5 for writing. LSR isn't a problem. we can share ideas if you don't mind

LOL...Ghost update ke? I'm not even there yet, I only create my profile two days ago. While waiting for our ECA report, I just remembered i once did an ECA in 2015 but only for my first degree, so i decided to create my profile and be in the pool with 397, and later update it when ECA is ready by 25th this month. Then i got a mail this afternoon that i have an update in my account, checked but nothing was there. So am assuming
maybe it's sent in error or something.

both attempts I followed E2-language by Jay on youtube and Ieltsliz both have been so helpful... I wrote more than 25 essays on both attempts when I was practicing, their structure for the essays is working. Listening is the devil I need to deal with... its so painful seeing 7.5, if someone failed it gallantly you'll know you are not good at it. all the same we will conquer all our weaknesses in this IELTS wahala. its just a tricky exam that doesnt depicts if you are good or not. just try to follow their structures. it will end in praise.
