I can't forget the first day I did that test during my IT as a lab scientist. Chaii my God, see my hand, my leg and all my body vibrating that as if Rapture has just taking place.

Mine was very very funny , wanted to do NDA afsb that so had to do the test to know and be sure before going to kaduna.
Still remember that crazy day, did the test alright, was very very positive until I went there to collect result. The woman that did the test for me was like Mr Quadri can u please go to the reception and wait ,the doctor would like to meet you to tell u ur result.
naso I wait for like 30 mins and when I met the doctor, the first thing the foolish woman will tell me is that *DO YOU KNOW THAT HAVING HIV IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD* then she went on to start counseling but me my mind Don go I don start to day cry day reason y did I have sex and when did I have the sex sef cause I was a virgin then.
The woman when she saw me crying was now like y are u crying, Sheybi ur negative, m just giving you normal counseling that we give everyone that comes for the test, Mhen we that God sha, that foolish doctor and their stupid counseling that almost killed me.

Counselling before taking blood samples is understandable. Counselling before the test is revealed if the patient is positive is also understandable. But counselling when the test result is negative is useless and unnecessary.

Never tested but my wife always tested during pregnancy. That's enough for me as far as my status is concerned.

I have done the test thrice so I'm no longer afraid of it. the last one I did I wasn't even informed by the doctor.

My first test in camp Lagos 2013
My camp gf brought the idea we were 4 boys 1girl she suggested we all do it.
We deliberated and finally agreed to do it 3 of my friends went in first while I was busy thinking about all the girls I smashed raw .
My turn came finally the lady running the test took my blood sample and was asking me questions if I've had any sexually transmitted disease and boom she said negative.
You know that feeling when you hold pee for a long time and finally got to pee.

The first HIV test I had was in Abu Zaria. It was organized for the students by the school. I wasn't scared at all because I had one yeye notion that it was only through sex that it could be truly contacted... But now I know better seeing that kids also gets infected too due to carelessness ...
