On average, how long is your motivation letter?

I've written 500 words and I think I am going with that because it should be about content and not length.

Is there any recommendation to the contrary?
Yeah it should be about content and 500 words is enough.
Make it neat and detailed. You are good to go

Hi Guys,
I just got admission to study scientific instrumentation at the university of applied science Jena dated 25th July 2018, I applied for visa appointment on the 27th still yet to get a reply from the embassy. Information I got from the embassy that no more visa appointment for winter section and I have completed my blocked account since last year when I first applied for the same from the embassy that they have booked out student visa for winter session. My question is....how can I still go for this visa appointment coz my enrollment date is on the 10th of October 2018. I'm just speechless, after long waiting

You could do one of two things.

Ask for an enrollment extension: Take the screenshot of the reply you got from the embassy and send to your course coordinator begging for an enrollment extension.

Or

You could mail your coordinator and tell him you changed address while you were awaiting admission. Telling him to change the address on your admission letter to a northern address. So you can get booked for an interview at the Abuja embassy.

Or

You could keep trying for the Lagos embassy. Try to send your documents early in the morning around 7am.

I'm wishing you Goodluck.

Don't think it will work like that. If the person believe in prayer, then should pray. I reside in jos, a northern area, yet got Lagos for interview. At least jos is close to abuja.

To help someone in life is a Gift from God.. When u come close to people that has been gifted with the heart of helping. you will know, they will surely provide all your needs until you will be shy away from asking for more..

May God bless those ones who love to help and also touch the heart of those who find it hard to help..

Hello Deutschlanders ,

I am new to this thread and It's my first time posting here. I have exhaustively gone through this part 5 thread from page 1 to the current page, and I wholeheartedly appreciate everyone contributing here, may you guys get your AM as soon as possible Amen. Much thanks goes to those our brothers and sisters over there that take time out of their tight schedule to respond to issues here, may you people never be forgotten Amen.

I studied Mechanical Engineering in my BSc level and hope to pursue my masters program over there for the 2019/2020 Academic session, in one of the Diverse fields of Mechanical Engineering, Engineer Management or Renewable Energy.

I have thoroughly ransacked through the DAAD and Mastersportal platforms (to the best of my knowledge lol) and have shortlisted out some schools and courses I plan applying to study e.g

Europa-Universität Flensburg - Energy and Environmental Management
University of Siegen - International Graduate Studies in Mechatronics
TU Dortmund - Automation and Robotics
TU Dortmund - Manufacturing Technology
Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt - Renewable Energy Systems
TU Munchen - Management and Technology
Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences - Mechanical Engineering
South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences - Systems Engineering and Engineering Management

There are 7 Schools 8 courses above, on the DAAD platform, they are taught in English and require proficiency in English, and for the case of TU Dortmund, I learnt GRE is also a key perquisite for admission.

please guys I would sincerely want your advice, information as well as personal experience (for those schooling there) as regards this schools and their host state in terms of ease of securing admission, Adaptation, job opportunities and socialization, because I intend to prune the list down a bit.

I pray I get a Scholarship to help pursue this dream because raising at least 8000 EUR is very sweet lol (make I gv myself hope)

So sorry for the length (I wan make una know where I for dey come and where I dey go)

I love the unity and oneness here, Thanks guys as you respond.

My advice which I believe a lot of people here will agree and echo is that try as much as possible to apply to as many school as you can. People here have gotten 10 rejections and all sort so your chances are in the numbers. Apply to a lot and when you have more than one admission which I pray you do, you can then choose to decide which to go but for now. Just keep applying

Schools where applications are made directly, rather than through uniassist are easier, cheaper & straight forward. So make such schools your priority. Application through uniassist comes at a fee & admission is still not certain.
My 2 cents

Hello house,, good morning and thanks for making this page a helpful one. Please I have a valid german national Visa (type D). However, my Nigerian passport will expire in January 2019, which I am planning to extend before September. Please, do I need to transfer this valid visa to the new passport or I can basically present the old and new passports at the airport?. Anyone with such experience? Please i need your advise on this. Thanks

While booking for your flight tickets, try scheduling your departure between Tuesday to Thursday. Flights are usually cheaper on those days and could save you a few quids.
