Okay so GTB has started doing online statement with signature and stamp. I heard they started mainly because of this Canada immigration stuff. Can it be used post ITA or one should just hold on to walking into the bank. This is how the stamp and signature looks and all pages will have it when you download

Hello house,
I know for sure that am going to receive strokes of strong words for what am about to post but is the true situation am in now
My ECA report is carrying wrong date of birth(10th August 1986) instead of (22nd August 1986) caused by the certificate I unknowingly sent to be accessed (WAEC) that has a wrong DOB.

Am currently gathering documents for MNPN having been given LAA and date of submission is nearer. Pls house, what do I do?

Good day house, so my gcms note came today and VO made a note about his concerns about my experience which I believe was what prompted an interview.

First of all, For the job I did with a small company for 3 yrs, he said I didn't submit Contract and payslip (cos I only submitted a reference letter, I felt this was the standard just to keep it simple, although I have the contracts but no payslip cos I was paid in cash)

Secondly, he mentioned that I didn't submit reference letter or proof of salary payment for a part time consultancy job related to my NOC that I did with a company from 2016 to 2017. I am not gaining point for it, so I only mentioned it in personal history. (Although I was paid by cash and bank transfer for the job). I have email correspondence between me and the GM since I worked directly under him, no offer letter, no reference. I was surprised when he said I was still working with the company when I clearly stated in my application that I worked from 2016 to 2017 and stopped way before I submitted my application.

lastly, he said the company is listed in a business directory online but has no website

My questions..
(1) Since I got to know about the VO's concern now through the gcms note, can I raise a CSE and submit the documents and clearly explain the situation or should I wait to have the interview (Accra hasn't given me a date)

(2) Has anyone submitted additional documents without the VO's request after checking his OR her GCMS note?

thanks all

Hi was it the case analyst that made this recommendations or the visa officer ?

Good morning Beautiful Family,

Thank you to everyone that dropped encouraging words on my previous posts.

Friday 20th July made it 180 days of waiting. After going through immense sadness and pressure due to our lives being on hold; I did the folowing and I am so much happier.

1) We took out 1m from our treasury bills.
2) We paid for house rent - Rent was going to be due in August and we had planned to stay with family for few weeks before travelling. Sadly, this plan did not work out as we are yet to get PPR.
3) We refurbished my car (body works & AC) and hubby is using it for uber starting today. He has also intensified job search. (We had earlier sold hubby's car for POF and we were both just managing mine)
4) I went shopping for my kids. Their shoes, cloths and all were all worn out (Like seriously worn out with holes, I had been patching since December last year). But we kept managing as all money were utilised to pursue this canny dream and we kept hoping that PPR is close, and we will shop when we get to canny.
5) We went on a daycation to lacampaigne Tropicana.
6)I bought enough food stuffs in the house, my daughter said, 'Arh mummy finally chicken'.
7) If we get an ADR for updated POF, hopefully hubby gets 25% of his pension before then, but if not we hope to quickly exchange/Sell the car for cash at CAR 45.

I am so much at peace now and not under any stress again. London VISA office, you can't give me high blood pressure!

It is well with you. Life is about the journey, so be at peace.

I don't even know the difference between both. All I know is that I saw the comment under "Note 1" towards the end of the gcms note.

I am in a similar situation and was expecting an ADR if need be, especially for tax CC. On mailing both ACCRA and LONDON if they need any clarification or additional document to buttress the case under review in my application , they both replied that I am in a queue for interview and no further information is required and that they will contact me SOON. Well, its been a wait for the interview date ever since. Can't say if raising a CSE will help or not. But I think most self-employed are called for an interview regardless the amount of documents submitted.

He/She seems more concerned about the part time job (which you are not claiming points for). Over sari London people angry. I'd say raise a CSE and submit the additional documents you have for the 3 years job (try to also include something that shows payment e.g pay slips/stubs,bank statements, etc.) and also include an LOE expressly stating that you are not claiming points for the part time job which is why you have not submitted documents for it.

Just like Ethelia said , I think you should raise an LOE stating clearly that you knew getting more supporting documents might be tough therefore you did not claim points for it. And a clear description of the issue.
I do not think you should be worried, okay let me be realistic I am aware you will be worried but then, try raise a CSE first and lets see how it goes.

I wish you best of luck.

No be small. It's very easy to forget the many blessings we have and murmur about some trivial things. So many struggles people go through just to achieve this dream (IELTS, ECA, POF, CRS, Medicals, Documentation etc.), but when I remember that I basically did not struggle for anything in this race (except the wait, which is fine though), I feel repentant and give God thanks instead. We will all rejoice in the end.

Very annoying thing. Over-syllabus. Seems to be a rookie to me. If they want us to start submitting reference letters for our work experience whether claiming points for or not, they should let us know and make it official.

You and @happytbaby have said it all, it's difficult but sometimes we don't know how good we've got it, we need to learn to be "anxious for nothing" every mallam with him kettle.

@aworldcitizen God bless you and your family and I'm confident you'll look back at this period and wonder why you ever worried.

Exactly. The process and requirements should be uniform. Same way some people are asked to submit reference letter for spouse employment that's in personal history angry They should streamline the process and requirements and stick to it

Okay let me chip in. I dont bank with GTB though. My POF was at a time held in treasury bills. At the time of submitting my application, I had recently invested 100% of my POF in TBills for a 91day tenor. I got my investment certificate from UBA, and it was hand signed at the branch. 5months later, I got an ADR for Employment and POF.

At this time, my first Tbill had matured and I had reinvested it for another 91day tenor. I had to request UBA to email me a scanned copy of the new investment certificate, when they did, I realised it had been digitally signed. Inshort it looked like a photoshop job; it just seemed like someone had cropped the signature and pasted on the Tbill cert. I was worried CIC would turn it down. I got in touch with a friend that works in one of UBA branches and he guaranteed that it was fine. So, I submitted and CIC had no issues with it. I think what matters is that it checks out when they verify. But if you dont want to take any chances, you can walk into the branch to get a hand signed version, I'm assuming GTB still issues that.

i know how frustrating it can be waiting for your expectation/miracle to arrive, however, i have a suggestion. while waiting expctantly, if you are a xtian, let God engage you by praying for the interest of His Kingdom. It is a secret i learnt from someone and heard great testimonies. you will be surprised how speedily God will fulfil your expectation.

Have you been queued for an interview or you were only recommended for interview? if the latter is the case I pray the decision is over-ruled. That's what happened in my case. Also if you were recommended for interview, by who? CIO or LVO? Note your secondary office could recommend interview, in this case, your primary office could wave it and just end up directing DRD to request ADR to address the concerns. GCMS notes have a 3 week lag, what you have seen may not be the most recent activity on your file. Email LVO requesting status of your application, be polite about it.

Now to answer your questions.
1) Yes be proactive about it, since it is something an ADR could fix. dont wait. Provide as much incontrovertible evidence as possible. Don't be assuming, cross your t's and dot your i's.

2) Yes. Although I didnt. but unsolicited CSE's are not uncommon in this journey. A couple of folks, have done so. as a matter of fact, I have advised a friend mine to do so tomorrow, after we analysed his GCMS and discovered the VO had concerns over something extra documentation would fix.

If you have already been slated for the interview, I think you should wait for a date.
