Yes oh sent the medical slip through CSE after submission.

Please guys I have an enquiry, SOWP approved and Passport request the same day, to my greatest surprise, my kids got medical request the next day after I had submitted our passports as requested. Still waiting to get back our passports from vfs before I can take them to go do medical. What should I call this one. The thing is making me to have mixed feeling.

There might be an error somewhere which made it to come up this way. I'll advise you get the passport after visa stamping and thereafter, take your kids for the medical test as requested by CIC. A medical request last for 30 days, I believe the time for visa stamping and courier delivery won't take up to 7 working days.

My advice!

Actually my kids applied for visiting visa to accompany us to Canada, am sure by the time they realized, they had already sent the passport request. All good. Will get their pp and proceed to the hospital. Thanks guys.

A near miss I will call it in the history of near misses. CIC reserves the right to approve your kids even without medicals. I would advice in the fulfillment of all righteousness, to follow through with the medical exam request. Even though they end up stamping your passport with a visa without a medical report ( which I think most likely would be the case), knowledge gained on the medical wellness of your kids is still pretty potent information for your personal use and future use.

Bro, I want to know if I can talk to you on another platform - email or phone. Kindly let me know if it is something that works for you.

Indeed, our country’s president, Mohammed Buhari three days ago signed into law that Nigeria’s passport validity be increased from 5 to 10 years.

That would be great! At least this reduces the rate of passport renewals.

Good evening everyone, I recently applied for a canadian visa through the paper route and I got a refusal letter yesterday. Here are the documents I submitted:

S.O.P letter
Sponsor's Bank Statements (Containing £15,000 or 7,000,000 naira) i.e Sponsor is based in the UK.
WAEC and GCE Result
Admission letter
Reciept of tuition for a term.
Sponsor's Property Documents
Letter of Introduction from Sponsor
Sworn Affidavit attested to by a NOTARY Public clearly stating the relationship of sponsor to applicant, occupation of sponsor, marital status, number of dependents (He has none).
Passport.
Resume.
Police clearance certificate.
Photocopies of birth certificate or Age declaration in the absence of a birth certificate.
Sponsor's ID-card and Passport datapage copy.
Consent Letter from mum (As I am under 18 and would be 18 August).

That's all I can remember, I am meant to resume on the 4th of September at Holland college. So what do i do now? Can i still reapply against September and If so how can I make sure I tackle every reason for denial.

Thanks so much.

Used an agent before but now I am willing to do it myself, but I need your help and contributions. Please Help a girl out!

P.S: The letter of refusal that I was given yesterday is attached to this message. Thanks again in advance!

Lucky? Leniency? For such a highly delicate process as immigration? Please say what you know! I have read many posts where people send their medical results via email post visa application submission and their status got updated! I have even read posts where people still submitted supporting documents via email to visa offices and it was acknowledged! There is no absolute to this application thing. For instance, many June applicants here haven't gotten any update yet from CIC, which almost 9weeks for the early June applicants, whereas some others have already received refusal mails! That doesn't guarantee that all those who haven't received a refusal within the 3 to 4weeks period will be successful in their application! Even the supposed gurus can put in a visa application and still get rejected even after dotting all I's and crossing all T's.. There is no absolute! I personally know a Pharmacist who got admitted to UBC in his same course path, Pharmacy, submitted mother's SOA with over 100m in it, no SOP and he still got rejected whereas some folks on this thread submitted applications without SOP's and got approved!
You expect me to answer you on this? No, I won't give you that satisfaction.

Hello all

Im a total newbie here and i would like to ask some questions. please bear with me

what are my chances of getting a student visa if i apply for a 1 year pgd course? I plan on going for masters after the program.
Is it still possible to resume in January 2019 if i start my admission process now either pgd or masters?

Bury the hatchet! What makes us intelligent beings is that we are not a monolithic entity, but hold varying convictions and can agree to disagree. It is okay to hold to the opinions he is espousing because it not an idea out of the blues and unsubstantiated, but one that has actually worked for others. Please let us try and be respectful of each other’s opinions, responses like yours can start a quarrel.

Your chances of getting a visa with a PGD are as good as you make it. Try and put up a strong and convincing application. The higher the degree you are going for, the more convincing to a visa officer would be your purpose of visit to Canada. Masters degree students on the average have a higher chance of visa success than PGD, while PHD students have a higher chance than masters degree students. In that regard, I will highly advise you concentrate your effort in looking for a masters program to get into and apply for a visa with a PGd only if you cannot get into a masters program. Yes, it is possible to get admission for January 2019, infact it is the application now open for submission all accross the board in Canada. Best wishes!!

Response like mine? I want to believe you didn't read how he responded to my post. Just like I always say, all we can do here is make suggestions and it's left for the person in question to take it or leave it. I made mine with proof, you made yours with proof, Frank made his with proof, Austeenpee made his but the moniker in question tried coming for me. Well, just like I said earlier I won't give him the attention he is seeking. I rest my case.
Have no beef with him or anyone, no time for that bro

This is serious, not even review of eligibility started at this point? If it is past the processing time at the time you applied, you might want to send a gentle email reminder. Explain what you explained, that your school resumption date draweth nigh. Thank them for taking the time to read your application.

@frankrobbin1, @austinpee4, McObex @jnyuwa02 and other gurus pls help me .

Guys , pls , is it possible to send CIC a copy of my minimal scholarship/bursary received from my intended school which was received only after my student permit has been submitted. I submitted in June.
And, I already stated in my IMM form that i do not have any scholarship.(I think there was a section like that , I can’t really remember)
If it’s possible , pls what impact (negative and positive ) will it have on my application

By all means send it now!! This would count as a change of circumstance which CIC always encourages applicants to send supplementary documents during the pendency of an application if their circumstances changes. In fact this is not a question, you would perpetrate a great injustice on yourself by not sending such a document. There are no negative impact, only positive. Just explain as you did, that the award came after you submitted. They would make it part of your file as they do of most submissions to an application after filing. Good luck!

phemmisky,

You're very free to send additional documents which you feel are relavant to you and will be a + to your visa application. It doesn't matter if you stated the scholarship on your IMM1294E form, the most important thing is that you have it right now. From my perspective, I see no negative effect of you sending this scholarship offer to IRCC.
