You are very correct...I wonder how anybody can really claim that God created all man equal...It is not possible. the black man is faaarrrr behind. more like God created the black man to be slaves. that's why we can hardly do anything on our own. They are just trying to meet their domestic needs which is their basic concept of national development, they themselves know there is no way they can measure up to the US whose innovations and discovery have come to define the way things are done around the world. What can china do to replace the IBM, ORACLE, WINDOWS, INTERNET, BOEING of this world. In essence almost all significant breakthrough in any field of human endeavor can be traced directly or indirectly to the US and when this is not the case their input or approval is usually sought later, who does that with China?

When you have a country like that, things run well because the people are united to make it work. Nobody is fighting for dominance in China because they already have a dominant ethnic group. If Yoruba make up 93 percent of Nigeria, then you will see development as we will all be willing to spread development, unlike Nigeria where one tribe wants everything for themselves at the expense of others.
This is why I always say we should split. If we don't do the right thing, Africa would continue to be stagnant economically.

To get to where it is today, US stole a lot of tech from Great Britain, France, and Germany when it was a developing country. Remember, the Industrial Revolution started in England, and so most of the tech of the day (steel production, steam engines, textile weaving, early computers, rocket engines), and most of this was done by espionage and flagrant copying. The US is forgetting how it became a world industrial power, and is actually pushing itself off the world stage. If the US (Trump) is not careful with its trade protectionism and angering of old friends, China will leave them far behind over the next 50 years (China is the one doing a lot of infrastructure around the developing world, some countries are adding Yuan to their basket of currencies, and Europe has been shaking hands vigorously with China at Davos).

how do you measure that, you calculate economy based on dollar which is USA's domestic currency. Even at that, China is closing up with America in nominal GDP. The real GDP is calculated in PPP (purchasing power parity) which takes into account price variations and inflations in each country, for instance, an iPhone is twice as cheap in China compared to USA, but nominal GDP will say, with the same product at hand, a user of iPhone in America is twice as rich as a iPhone user in China. In terms of real GDP (PPP), China is head and shoulder above the United States, 25 trillion GDP compared to USA's 20 trillion.
