We have not achieved anything because we are too diversed to work together. Providing electricity is not hard. I have been to Benin, Ghana, Togo and they have constant power supply.
Yorubas, Igbos, and Hausas can do that on their own when they have their own Republics

A certain state of California has an economy that is bigger than that of many countries in d world. Why don't u tell them in California that it doesn't make sense. Is it a crime if our federating build their economies like that of California?

But when (e.g.) English engineers patent their ideas with the Crown, and suddenly American engineers are producing those same designs (remember, America had become a separate country 100 years prior), and the Brits accuse the Americans of stealing, well, I don't know what you'd call that.

When you search for "america stole british technology" on Google, you get about 10 million hits... I think the consensus is that the country "United States" acquired innovations from countries in Europe, mostly by stealing and ripping off the original.

What would you call it if several Chinese Americans (born and bred in USA, whose parents were also born and bred in US, to go back to 1930s), took US technologies without authorization and shared them with China? What if the Chinese-Americans were part of a team of American engineers who invented it? Would you say China acquired it legally? Why make the exception for European-Americans?
