In four years now, we shall be celebrating 100 years of our existence as a nation.are we already projecting for a mega anniversary celebration? This is about the only aspect of living in which Nigerians seem to have mastered the art of planning ahead. Who knows how much and whose blood that will be used to appease the gods of d land on such occasion? We can then tag it Century Bomb Blast (CBB) or Amalgamation Bomb Blast (ABB). . .we will always find a fine coinage. Funny enough, it's gonna be another election year. chei! Politicians and rituals! |

Guyman02:Then, at this point we must ask, what is more important for us now as a country? Is it Jonathan's chances or our country's future? I agree with you on the point that such SNC's are usually attended by the SAME OF THE SAME. The perpetual political knockheads who have drag this country into dejected misery. That is what we must fight against. |

Guyman02:Never mention Igbo in all these because Igbos have neither benefited 1naira from crude oil outside Igboland nor a federal capital, not to talk of Job employments and political posts.Igbos are treated worse than minorities in Nigeria.Every achievement made by the Igbo is through self help.Despite pouring out most of the graduates in Nigeria, they get the least jobs and hence are highly self-employed. Back to topic.Reforms can be made without SNC but the problem is that a courageous leader is needed who will be ready to reduce his own powers and enpower the federating units.SNC will just be a money wasting galore of same old faces who at the end of the day will stick to status quo. |

call SNC for more blood shed, infighting, confusion, etc from lame unpatriotic selfish heads? It will never work, there is so much insinsererity and mistrust as at now. That is why you can't trust any person or president to deliver the suffering masses. For me there is no need to call SNC now. What we need is strong, no nonesense leadership, enforcement of existing laws. I doubt if GEAJ would have the guts for this but i hope he would. The president has to solve his hard problem in looking for like-minded people who will listen to him and assist in their own spheres of authority in enforcing the law and carrying out genuine gov't plans. This is not an easy task but if he succeeds in getting great patriotic minds to work with him, naija would be better off. I know this country has been thoroughly misgoverned but we still have a chance to remain one without devolving power to regions and go back to our vomit with the problems it would bring. |

josite:Simply brilliant . All of us focusing on an Igbo, ND, Hausa or Yoruba President are wasting time. We are failing to see what we must see. We need an individual , wherever he is from, who is a sincere leader and a true democrat with a love of all Nigerians. We can gain an Igbo , Hausa or ND President but if those Presidents (eg OBJ, Yar Adua and now GEJ) are products of the establishment that has kept Nigeria down , then all Nigerians are collective losers. |

So do we still reject calls for SNC Mr Retardeen? |

GEJ will not agree to SNC because of backdoor commitments. Taking SNC through NASS is a front. It's like a drug dealer that operates a car dealership through which he launders his dirty money to avoid audit trails. |

The question arises once again. Has the Pharaoh finally changed his mind or is he still waiting for the passover? |
