Since the world "faith" and "hope " are used side - by - side and in ways that faith is built on hope, I believe they shouldn't have the same meaning.

Both are internal believes that that change the way we look at the World and how we act in it.

Faith is deeper. Hope sometimes depends on what is left..e.g after an accident that claims ur right hand, ppl say after all, you still have a left hand, when there's life, there's hope. But even a 4-day decaying body by faith will rise...in short dry bones can still live by faith.

Heb 11 vs 1a it says; now FAITH is the substance of things HOPED for.

Roman 5 vs 2-3 it says; therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into His grace in which we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

HOPE makes one to expect something spectacular to happen while FAITH gives us the assurance of the accomplishment.
The realization of one's HOPE is obtained through FAITH.

In conclusion; If we do not have faith our hope is lost, because what we hoped for won't be accomplished.
Faith stamps it all.

Faith is complete trust or confidence in someone or something, while hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen.

Hope is continues until something happens.

Hope and Faith is almost same. They work hand in hand. When you are expecting something to happen(like miracle, favour or breakthrough), its Hope. But you need Faith to believe it shall come to pass.

Hope is an expectation that something positive will happen based on the work or effort one put towards that thing while faith is for lazy ones that puts everything in the hands of an imaginary helper that lives somewhere in the sky

Why this does not make sense is because it rules out those "waiting on God" as having faith; but in the actual fact, they do have faith, they are just waiting on God's time. "Now" is not always the best time, sometimes the future is.
