I'm not sure if you can change that post ITA. If at all you can, you must also know that your CRS score would be recalculated and if it falls below the round's draw cut-off, your application would be refused and your fee not refunded.

If I were the reviewing officer, even if your recomputed score were to meet the cut-off, I'll think you cleverly did it to achieve something. They might end up drilling through your application thereby delaying it.

These are my thoughts

No I have not received ITA, expecting this Wednesday but my score can accommodate my spouse now. But I can’t find where to change to accompany

So on point. Nothing to add.

Change your marital status to "married", allow the page to refresh and answer "Yes" to the question "will your spouse be accompanying you to Canada?". I do not expect anything different from this. Try it out.

Na, don't think so. It is just for those who schooled in good ol' naija. Even Syria and Iraq no get affected. As long as you evaluate your M.Sc only, you should be ok.
Check this tool to ease your mind: https://www.wes.org/ca/partners/required-documents/

@Kmgb,please your transcript did it specify mode of study part time or full time as specified in the ICES website.
My contact in Unizik said the mode of study is not included in the transcript and they don't issue any letter indicating that as well as the campus location.
Please can you throw more insight on that. Thanks

Hello everyone, Congratulations are in order to all that recently got their PPR, ITA, Ielts and the likes, I usually smile here while reading them, all the best. Please I would appreciate if anyone can enlighten me on this. At what stage in one's application will one be able to determine the visa office that is handling one's application. Would they mail us to let us know where we belong or there are ways of knowing? Just curious, thanks

Ok thanks but how long did yours take for verification?

I was just thinking, why can't WES borrow a leaf from German Consulate, what they request for is WAEC or NECO scratch card/pin from applicants instead of this back and forth verification.
I don't think it's age discrepancy that they are interested in,I think it's the authenticity of the result because some transcripts don't have date of birth like Unizik.

ICES doesn't do verification, once your transcript is received, they start evaluation and get back to you once its ready.

If I were in your shoes I'll get a reference letter from my bank in CIC format and submit only that. Note that extra documentation can be requested at any point, including statement of salary account. Regardless, the only document you're required to submit is the letter.

Thanks for the clarification.

Remember, no online soft copy anywhere .. It comes as hard copy via courier of 75cad int'l or 26cad domestic. So people should look for good friends or folks to use their mailing addresses in receiving it and scanning to you. Maybe later post it to u or keep it till u land in Canada. You save cash that way.. If no pal or trust and too much... 75cad + 200cad it is!

The day we will be able to reach our full potential as test takers is the day we stop blaming examiners. My take is to banish all thoughts of examiner this or examiner that.

Understand the exams, master it. The brain is able to perform many complex tasks but it gets lazy when we are not giving it challenges to tackle. Make the exam your b...tch menh!

I quite agree with you to a large extent happytbaby and I'm not the type that cave-in, I wee kukuma die there. some scenarios have happened that you will have no choice than to question the examiner, which often lead to remark and we've seen score change after re-examination. its difficult for one to score 998 in LRS and then score 6.5 in writing. I am talking from personal experience and the same person was opportune to be in USA for the next IELTS and wrote it there...score came out as 9988 in LRSW.
I advise people, "NEVER GIVE UP" on IELTS......It will end well IJN.
