I can't see anywhere in the Act establishing the Efcc where they have been given powers to freeze or investigate a state's accounts. Even the court order to freeze an individual's accounts is supposed to be obtained in the presence of the accused's lawyer, and not in secret. Typical of what we have been seeing since the inception of this administration, flagrant abuse of power and court processes just to witch hunt the perceived enemies of the president. I'm certain someone will come and say that Magu is working for Saraki, and Bubu is a clueless saint!

It is a public trust so he is also accountable to the stakeholders....

state's security votes has no statutory framework but the FG disbursing the said funds has the responsibility to require accounts on how votes are spent...
