Yes, nobody needs waec to enter into american university. Its either you sit for SAT or TOEFL or both as requires by a few and i know people that would never pass jamb no matter how many times they write it but Passed the US requirements and as surprising as it may sound, they end up far better than the one that scored the 9As parrallel and highest score in Jamb.

this is why a review of requirements to hold electoral office is vital if Nigeria wants to make progress.

Nigerian universities also conduct their own exams that doesn't mean you WAEC certificate isn't required.
