Here is deal and the reason why Saraki cannot win this battle.



1. APC is totally in control at the federal and state level all over Nigeria including Kwara state, but Saraki is not in control of any state, not even his own state and constituency.


2. Impeaching Saraki is just one of the many options APC's pocket, the most potent option is not impeachment, it's denying him the return ticket to Abuja via election loss in his own state, the state with dismantled structure that he no longer control.

Denying him the capacity to return to Abuja as a senator in the first place looks like the most potent and humiliating option in my view.

3. The PDP can not save or shield saraki or prevent his eventual downfall, in fact, he fell the very second he betrayed and sabotaged his own party and country because of greed and personal gains.

4. The PDP is a very weak party and they've already lost the election. The SE and SS, their main pillar of support are crumbling with APC looming large and taking over in both zones. The North and the SW are solidly APC so there's absolute no electoral rout for the PDP to navigate to Aso Rock.

4. The PDP members he covered himself with are not returning to Abuja in 2019 via any electoral victory so Saraki is totally exposed, vulnerable and disposable.

Sabotaging your own party and country is the most dishonorable move ever and I don't see Saraki getting any kind of soft landing from here on.

let me address your points in the same manner from my view

1.APC may be in control of the country and some states but it's not definately in control of Kwara.
Saraki is in full control of kwara and his constituency.
I don't know which other control u are looking for if because of one man's defection .....the state Governor, deputy governor, speaker, all members of the house except one, all local government chairmen, all commissioners, all counsellors and many party members defected .
Again, saraki's leadership single handedly delivered Kwara to PMB in the last election.

2. It will be almost impossible for APC to deny his return to the Senate. Again, do u know that of the two Senate terms of saraki he neither for once campaigned neither did he post any poster or advert.
See as of today, the only thing that can make that guy loose his relevance in kwara politics is probably death.

3. He only betrayed that party and not the country. Looking closely you discover the man is ambitious and intelligent it's never about the greed or personal gains, that guy has known money all his life, when people like that notice you don't know their worth, overestimating yourself or underestimating them, they switch.

4. PDP may be a weak party the same way ACN was some months back, but it's not weak in kwara because of one man.

5. Let's wait till 2019, all I know is it's not going to be an easy ride for the PDP and APC will also feel the heat.

Oshiomhole built which structures? How many senators or Federal House of reps members in Edo State did oshiomhole deliver to APC in 2015? What about the presidential elections? Did he deliver it to the APC? Oshiomhole only rode to power on the strength of his popularity as a former labour chairman.
