There's tremendous strength in diversity if you ask me & this is well proven in the western world hence their advancement/development. I believe we are all good together in Nigeria but who's got the political will to lead us the right way & don't forget that the polithiefcians thrive on divide&rule as it works well for them.

There's also an enviable strength in diversity coz if our polithiefcians did it the right way, Nigeria would by now be an industrialised country.

Guy, our polithiefcians are our problem coz they keep faffing around. cool
There is no strength in diversity. I guess your intension is to mention America to prove your point. I can list 10 European countries to prove you wrong. Hope you know China, Japan, North and South Korea, Singapore, Viatnamese e.t.c are Asian countries that little or no diversity at all. America has been able to manage her diversity because 99 percent of her population are immigrants. Hence, the words 'African Americans', 'European Americans', 'Asian Americans' e.t.c. Africans are diverse, what have you benefitted in diversity? Nigeria is diverse, what have you benefitted in her diversity?

Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, has revealed the year Nigeria will split and according to him Nigeria as a united nation may not exist beyond 2035.

He made the claim during the recent launch in Lagos of ‘Warning To The Nations’, a book in which he compiled all his prophecies covering the 2018/2019 period, The Herald reports.

The cleric also called for the suspension of the 2019 general election in Nigeria.

Primate Ayodele, who was speaking on the solution to Nigeria’s myriad problems, said,

“Practice True Federalism, whereby states will be in charge of their own affairs, taking care of their resources and their people. Let there be no election in 2019. After Federalism, Nigeria will not exceed beyond 2035 before splitting.”

In the same vein, Primate Ayodele charged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to field Senate President Bukola Saraki if it hopes to win the 2019 presidential election.

The popular prophet stated that contrary to what many may believe, he neither had any links with Saraki nor was paid by the senate president to say what he did.

He said:

“I do not know Saraki neither do we have any link, politically or otherwise. But he is the only man who can win anything for PDP. Bukola Saraki being president will change many things for good in Nigeria and there will be peace in Nigeria.

” God needs Saraki to rule for another four years.”

He also prophesied challenging times for Nigeria and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Primate Ayodele further said that the party might find it difficult to retain power in Osun, where the gubernatorial election is scheduled to hold on September 22.

“If Osun APC didn’t put their house in order, they will find it difficult to retain Osun state,” he predicted.

Any so called prophet who supports the current crop of Nigerian politicians CAN NEVER BE SENT FROM GOD.

I dont understand, he just said the 2019 election should be cancelled if possible. Yet, he wants PDP to field Saraki as their Presidential Aspirant for the coming elections. I may be wrong, but someone should enlighten how this is not contradictory.

I see you're stuck in your line of thought & not prepared to explore any avenues. Those SE Asian countries listed up there have benefited from immensely from diversity - if you research further. The benefits of diversity cannot be overemphasized and China for example is maximizing the strength of their numbers coz there's political will.

I don't have the strength to engage you as you continue to argue blindly. cool

You have refused to tell me how SE Asia and Europe benefitted from diversity. Japan is 98 percent ethnic Japanese while Korea is 99 percent ethnic Korea. You also refused to answer how Nigeria has benefitted from her diversity. There is nothing wrong is being diversed, but it has its limit - I have said that earlier. A diverse country should have a dominant ethnic group. How can you have Yoruba, Ibo, and Hausa with each making up 20 percent of the country? That is madness! The Europeans even divided them into North, West, and East for a reason. The Europeans that created their own countries with little diversity are fools abi? Brother, let me be sincere with you, you are the one arguing blindly.

You don't want a military takeover trust me coz it's never gonna be better with the military in power. They loot recklessly and are known for human rights abuses, they're so skillful in that department.

For you to wish for a military takeover explains the average mindset of the African man. Your brain is not as developed as your Arab & western counterparts coz they will not think in that direction as it's not an option.

Guy, get some quality education ok.

Bye. cool
You started well but with the bolded, you spoilt it all. I won't be rude anyway but I will like to let you know that I know the consequences of military rule so what I said does not mean I prayed for it. Even the oppression and abuse of power alone no be here so I completely understand why you sounded so aggressive but then, please learn how to pass a message without been harsh or abusive.

Happy Sunday

So you're saying that if Nigeria indeed splits in 2035, it is because of this prophecy?
Read between the lines sir. If he had said 2019/20 and it happens thus, then we can say his prophecy came true. In other words, his prophecy sounds more like a situation analysis; we all know it is not well with naija.

Those countries (e.g. China)also have different languages/dialects, cultures and traditions. In China, they speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Wu, Hunanese and so on but to outside world they all speak Chinese maybe coz they all look alike. Some westerners can't differentiate if one is Igbo or Togolese, to them we are Africans - does that mean we speak one language or have one culture?

Don't be lazy to do your research bro & stop asking me foolish questions. You must really think those SE Asians are one people with one language - have you forgotten the Taiwanese & the people of Tibet?

Abeg, It nauseating when people argue blindly instead of researching.

Lastly, Yorùbá, Igbo, Hausa and other minority groups that make up Nigeria are good together; our polithiefcians are our problem - simple! cool

Ok back to the basics, Nigeria is not a failed project but one of the major problems is what you have highlighted up there. This is happening coz in Africa, what we have are strong men and not strong institutions - so the stiff/unhealthy competition or arbitrary use of power is inevitable. OUR POLITHIEFCIANS ARE OUR PROBLEM.

Had it been the opposite, things would be much better and the common man can afford to go to the court and get justice well deserved.

In a nutshell, we are good together & I still maintain that there's strength in diversity & numbers. cool

Guy use your brain. You people have always blamed politicians since 1960. Your grandfather did this. Your father did it, now you are doing it. How are politicians your problem? Were they not raised in the same society like you are me? Are they from Congo or Uganda? You guys open your mouth without thinking with your braing. The child you see walking on the street will become a leader one day, and your child will blame them for their ineptitude. Fashola will be a good president to Yoruba people(Oodua republic), but under Nigeria, he won't do well. What you are saying has been said before. Some even went as far as going to war to keep the country 'one'. Today, when you ask these people, they are filled regret for participating in the war. Their children are suffering from their stupidity.
Carry go guy. Na your business

The Scottish, Welsh, English & Northern Irish are kingdoms under one umbrella - United kingdom. They only have devolved powers but still report back or answerable to Westminster.

These people of diverse cultures and languages work well together coz their brains are developed - advanced. They have strong institutions, not strong men, that's why no one can mess about with impunity. The UK have thrown a minister(Chris Huhne 2003) behind bars for lieing.

My point is that the diversity is not the problem but the polithiefcians and the system.
