Please how long does it take for passport return after request by CIC for study permit? Sent mine since last week Tuesday, 7th August and I haven’t gotten any update except the mail from vfs that my application has been processed since 9th August.

Can someone please respond to this...

It’s like the proverbial story of the guy who cried fire and when people showed up, he said he was only joking. So when the real fire one day descended on his house and he cried, nobody showed up. Are you sure you are telling the truth this time around? Why should we beleive you this time around?

July 19 applicant, review of Eligibility started yesterday afternoon! Exactly 3 weeks and 1 day of submission.. I hope it a good sign. My next post shall be approval alert here! And all those waiting on approval and medical mail, you shall all receive it too. Amen!

In my opinion, your conflicting posts within hours of each other is very unnecessary. Makes it extremely difficult to even believe all you have posted in the past. It is best for someone not to comment on a public thread if there's no correct information to pass across, than to knowingly type and send out wrong information. No need trying to turn this thread into a circus or comedy show.

Atall my eligibility started on the 7th of August, and I got a message from VFS on Friday that my passport was ready, mind you my cic account was still reading eligibility review and background check. Though my visa shows my it was issued. On that same on the 7th of August.

Am very sorry my chief, but truly I did that because of the tension, because my mind was already telling me I was going to be refused if I get my passport today.. am really sorry for all this, you were also of great help to me.. I was issued a 3 years student visa to attend Brandon University for a second degree at Manitoba..

I want to say to the gurus of this great thread that I am very sorry for what I did, I learnt so much from this forum, even after my first refusal, I was encouraged here to apply again.. I really appreciate everybody on this thread, you guys are really Great.. what I did was just to let my mind at rest, because I was preparing for the worse.

I will also try my contribute to this forum in anyway I can..

I pray that everybody waiting for their trv would be approved this week in jesus Name..

I will paste my timeline soon.

At dinho10 please don’t let anybody discourage you, I applied for a second bachelors degree which is also called second degree, and it was for 2 years, but they gave me 3 years visa.. what I know is that apply for something related to your previous studies, and make sure you are convincing enough as why you wanna go for it..

Some of this VOs are not predictable. They made decisions a times from a prejudice view. Yes, they are professionals but they in some cases acted against the law and give decision from their pre-conceived notion about applications. This is because the power given to them by law enter their heads
