Babyvet:simply uncouth , loud and fickle. Its intresting you have got people cheering you on. This is a public forum, but it doesnt mean decorum should be disregarded. Its not as anonymous as you think. |

Homguy:Imao, if it not that not anonymous, then why should someone be posting about their sex escapedes on the internet and even ask recommendations for prositutes. |

Holocene:I thought of something else I wanted to add.. If anyone is in a situation like this where they are asked to learn a different skill or one that they think is beneath them, I believe it to be a blessing. The more and diverse skills you have, the more valuable you will be to a future employer and the more indespensible you are to a current employer. This mindeset saved me when the last recession hit. |

Nig4Greatness:Hmm, that is a hot button topic. Can we talk about it when there isnt as much fighting on this thread? My answer isnt the usual immigration argument. Mine is related to his policies on the EPA, Medicare for senior citizens, and Education, in addition to the overly harsh immigration policy. |

Backfornow:... Doubt if the situation can change, this is a Nigerian forum where disagreements and arguments reign supreme.we just have to keep managing it until we have all reach that level of modesty and decorum. |

Why do Nigerians hate information so much. Knowledge can be gotten through argument or what ever means. What matters is that you learn something from it. Argument is not meant to show who is more correct or smarter but rather to get informed. Nigerians has the mentality that owns you know something and express it, you're being tagged, "ITK (I too know). No wonder the popular saying, "If you want to hide something from a Nigerian, put it in a book." How do you want to be successful without getting informed. No wonder the so called Nigerian millionaires and billionaires who crookedly got their wealth have no inspiring story to tell the younger generation of how they got their wealth. What a country!! Dremca: Dremca:How does stock market relate to the Op's topic? Nobody's stopping you from talking about stock market, but why not go to the right section to talk about it? Must you use the op's thread to talk about irrelevant things? Nawao |
| Re: Yankee: through the eyes of a village boy. by Nig4Greatness: 2:00pm On Aug 14, 2018 |
CoolDipper:..... I don't get it,according to the thread topic, are we supposed to be talking about happenings in Nigeria or in the US??..,if the latter is the case, then how's she derailing the thread??.. If you have anything to contribute, what stops you from doing so??why cant you respect others views and opinions. I asked her an important question and she tried to answer but you are right there attacking or does Yankee now means Nigeria to you??. Mr,take a chill pill and face your lane. Smh |

Dremca:.... Constructive argument is good and healthy for the mind but it becomes poison when it turns into personal attacks. at times am guilty of it myself but I don't just bite unless am stepped on. |
| Re: Yankee: through the eyes of a village boy. by Nobody: 2:55pm On Aug 14, 2018 |
CoolDipper:I am an American on a US thread, asking a US related topic. I thought it was a legitimate topic. I asked people here who I have had some correspondence with because I sorta trust them better than asking other random people. I came back to this thread again because I felt like it was more like a community and I missed corresponding, helping others, and learning myself also. I do not know it all, never claimed to, I have shared what I know and my experiences under both monikers here to empower people here who are presently in the US and who are coming and to help them save time and energy. I have even at times asked questions and shared links that I thought that others could benefit from. Dont worry, I will change ministries. |

What is funny to me is that a young lady above me is referencing a question that I took the time and energy to research the answers and post the information. Was that irrelevant to the OP as well? |
| Re: Yankee: through the eyes of a village boy. by Holocene(m): 3:18pm On Aug 14, 2018 |
Backfornow:Lol, where are you moving your ministry to this time around.?? Dont get emotional over a random cyber bully who obviously wants to show off his balls ![]() |
