I don't believe this. As someone pointed out, he was only reposting Joseph Yobo's retirement statement. Victor is not yet at the peak of his career, and he won't retire when he's in the prime of his career and currently the most celebrated Nigerian footballer. He's currently the face of the SE and believed to be the most gifted of the team. That is why Rohr handed the role of penalty taker to him and loves using him.

Victor will definitely want to play in the next AFCON in Cameroun and win it before even thinking of retirement. He's probably dreaming of doing so after hopefully winning AFCON 2019. Then you can expect players like Mikel, Ighalo, Elderson and Balogun to join him.
