Depends on if the NOC you choose states high school or university as the minimum education required.

Under work history in the EE profile, you are asked: Date you first became qualified to practice in this occupation
If the "primary occupation" is:
a qualified trade (four-digit code begins with 632, 633, 72, 73, 82, 92), this is the date they became qualified to practice on their own in Canada. (For example, when they moved from apprentice to being a licensed tradesperson.)
any other job, this is the date they first obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description. (Note: if the NOC only states high school, this is the date they graduated.)

Note this too:No Co-op terms and apprenticeships completed before graduating do not count as skilled work experience. They are considered part of an educational program. Check here.

Please go for an EOR. You might be lucky and get an upgrade in writing.

Hi everyone.

This thread came as a life saver.

A cousin was asking me about process of migrating to Canada or Australia as a nurse and I was totally naive
Cc: justwise, GlitteringStar
1.....Ist of all, if working abroad is her aim, she should go to this link to get accustomed to the different routes and their requirements ....https://www.nairaland.com/2863557/nigerian-nurses-midwives-dream-working
2.....her age is on the high side for her qualification so at age 33 you would need to have a masters degree to get a reasonable score.
3.....ielts target score shouldn't be less than lrsw 8777
4......i think Australia requires her to be licensed to practice in Australia to meet the cut( confirm this info from the aussie thread)
5......you dont need 470 to get ITA sc0res as low as 440 have gotten in recent times(page 1 for details/Ircc website)
Lastly go to page 1 to get details for canadian permanent resident immigration process. Please note that immigrating to canada using her nursing education and experience doesnt automatically mean she can work as a nurse on getting there(refer to the link above for steps for licensure)

Same here man. I think it's common to us that submitted in July oo

Phillips8hills:
My people. I don't know if i am being paranoid. Please advise. I observed here that the duration of time from AOR to medicals passed for most people ranges one week.
I submitted my application for a family of 6 (AOR) on 26 July, but there has not been any update in my CIC account as at today (exactly 3 weeks later).
Is this due to the size of my family or is there something I am missing?

You should have asked questions on those fields you are having problem with, so that people can help. Please try and use the CRS tool again and ask specific questions.
OK. Below are some of the questions:

1.) 7) Do you have a certificate of qualification from a Canadian province, territory or federal body?

Option A: Yes

Option B: No

2.) Do you have a nomination certificate from a province or territory?

Option A: Yes

Option B: No

Pls what should be the correct answers for the above

And like what score should be okay from the CRS evaluation tool

Thanks in advance

I think you may be doing something wrong. Check notes in red.
ymarts:
I tried using the CRS evaluation tool but couldn't comprehend some fields so the result was around 220. Watch this youtube video to help you understand the process:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWwX-4Hp6hE

And how does she proceed to start the express entry process, check here including for Australia and New Zealand try searching the Travel thread of Nairaland. DIY links are there if possible so I can give her comprehensive and correct information pls.

Congrats to all PPR recipients. The joy of it is out of this world.

Please oh! in the midst of PPR rain let me squeeze in my question.

I am post ITA, I didn't see a placeholder to upload WES and IELTS results. I saw a holder for degree results only.

Should I leave them out? I guess they will use the information we filled pre ITA

Thank you

Applicable NOCs are O,A & B. Have you confirmed tthat 6552 is your job function? What is your NYSC Job description?

My job function is more of account officer because am an exclusive personal banker. More like an account officer to affluent customers. 6552 doesn't define my job functions

Awwww, I feel your pain embarassed embarassed embarassed

I actually followed Liz's free materials and got a 7. But I will most likely say that I was given an essay I could relate to. That made the writing quite easier than I expected .

How did you write your introduction in your essay? Did you paraphrase while writing the background. Did you also write a thesis in the introduction?

based on her age, that means no need for her to try then I guess since she doesn't have a masters

For me, I never followed any pattern and I have written 3 times cos I wasnt even aware of all these dem Liz and Jay then. I got 7 twice and 7.5 once. I probably was lucky. However, I only used the tips that was taught to us in pry abi na secondary school sef. As I earlier said, I was probably lucky.

So make we no too over think am.

Thanks everyone for your contributions. But the question was not "how to write a reference letter", my former employer already did. The question however was - would an unprofessionally written work reference letter adversely affect my application? Posting it here is of no use.

Shakara period
i have been trying to find out how long they would take to send COPR

Please do not mind me. I was just anxious to get the COPR. I think the time it takes to send COPR is very relative. However I'll say AVO takes 3-4 weeks on average.
