Please I would like to know if after the interview which I was given my passport and my visa fee was accepted, what’s the chances of been given student visa and how many weeks will it takes.

Check Jena, Bonn, Goettingen. But your easiest option is to input your choice course and then do a search on www.daad.de.

Have been looking for universities that has courses like biotechnology , bioscience, microbiology, biochemistry, etc with English as the language of instruction , pls sir any idea ? The only result I got was rhinewaal uni of Applied sciences.

Your chances of getting a student visa is between you, your VO, your alien office and God. But it normally takes about 4-6wks.

so after many many preparation i finally do my interview today.


I got to d embassy by 4:50AM,I waited for dem to open d main gate by 5am. after which, we ( i went sum oda guys who has d same date as mine, we lodge at d same hotel.) went straight to d German embassy. we waited dey 4 lyk 30mins b4 paulinus came, den e change his clothes and arrange d sits, den by 6:10AM paulinus started calling us in. i was d second person.( i was suppose to b d first o. as God may hav it,i tell my guys i no lyk dat front o�. so 1 new guy came in we com put am der lol.)

So as usual paulinus go always show imself. buh i no get im tym.E said we shud bring out our documents, we did, and we place dem on d sit after dat he started calling d documents while we arrange dem accordingly.
*NOTE* he did nt call d documents according 2 d way it is in d checkist o. u go gat dey smart.

after arrangement he gave me gate pass nd i went in for security check, after dat d security man took us to d main building, were we waited for d light to go on.after sumtym rum 3 light was ON. d first guy went in,so am d next.

i com dey pray for my mind o. make rum 4 lyt ON ( since i heard dat datz where d punk guy is�).
So after sum tym Rum 4 lyt came ON. i come nter sharparly b4 anoda rum lyk go com ON o, i no fit shout.

as i saw d punk guy,i got sum little releif.

Me : first of all, i hav passion in engineering maintenance nd repairs also,d job prospects i tend to gain after my completion of this program, because i notice d major problem we hav in our Nigeria industries is lack or improper maintenance. which is leading to our low productivity. i told im my experience at W.R.PC. where i did my I.T nd how d refinery is not working due to improper maintenance. i told im dat this curz will put me in d forefront wen i return bac. i will able to work in various company and industries such as refineries,shell nd d rest nd also assist in teaching our engineer on how to carry out proper maintenance in various industries.

V.O :why Germany.
Me: Germany offer quality education both thoeritical and pratical, German is a safe country. they hav very good culture.

V.O : so fund does not play a role.

Me: Oh yes. Germany offers quality education at a very cheap or no tuition fee.

Me: Told him Germany is in central Europe,wit population of abt 82.67million m,it hav land mass of abt 357,000km square. capital in berlin . made up of 16 states d biggest of dem is bavaria, wit 70,555km square area. and population of abt 12million.

me: yes sir,told him d name of d chancellor,d president nd wen they started office.

Arrived the embassy today at 4:50am.
Mr Paulinus arrived 5:30am.
Then around 6:10am we were checked in for documents arrangement.

Mr Paulinus: Listen to me carefully and adhere to my instructions

Mr Paulinus: originals and photocopies here, here and here.

Mr Paulinus: for academic documents, arrange them from the least to the top. I understand that some of you don't have primary school cert. If WAEC is your least document then place it first.

Then I went into the security checkpoint.

Security: Do you have phones with you.
Security: You are not allowed to bring in phones here. Hand it over to me.
*Gives me a tag and places my phone in a box*

Then I headed for the VOs office. There are four cubicles. No 2, 3 and 4 were the only ones operating at that moment.

It got to my turn and it was cubicle 3.
The pretty woman with dreads.

Me: Good morning.
VO: Good morning. Your documents pls. What are you applying for?
VO: Why BSc, why not MSc?
VO: You are applying for BSc in Business & Engineering, but you did Management course in your previous degree, how?
VO: Oh, you were a science student in secondary school?
VO: Why this course?
VO: Igbo people and business
VO: You are from Anambra state, right?
VO:What do you know about Germany?
VO: Why not Nigeria?
VO: Why not US, UK or Canada?
VO: How are you planning for your stay?
VO: You have learnt the German language to B1 level. You started when?
VO: You have just Zertifikat B1, where are the A1 and A2 certificates? I can see only attendance certs from Goethe.
VO: This is higher though. Tell me more about the city you are headed for?
VO: That's all. Pls you would write a short test in 10mins.

Test Questions:
1. √49, √144, √196
2. Quadratic equation.
3. Volume of a cube, with 4cm at the l, b and h
4. What is volts and its abbreviation?
5. What is ohm and its sign
6. Explain the centrifugal force (Fliehkraft).
7. Mention 3 fundamental subjects in Mechanical Engineering.

VO: *crosschecks the answers from her PC*
VO: Okay. Pls fund your account asap and forward it to our mail.

There are alien offices in each German state. Your school has got a peculiar alien office attending to her matter in the state you're heading to.

Swiss, please did you apply via uni-assist? What's the maximum amount of schools will I be permitted to using uni-assist? And lastly, is it safe to apply directly online or uniassist considering summer application?

Not true. Use Daad.de there are a lot of schools there.

I have used daad.de sir...the only options that came out were rhinewaal Nd some Jacobs university like that .

I have done this many times sir. For courses under natural sciences , rhinewaal was the only option that came out, with English as the Language of instruction for bsc, can I send you an email sir.
