Why will this be a problem here? So all the big men here that work in banks cannot give us reliable information. If I hear anybody here again say he is a banker, I will invite Daura DSS for am.

Anyways, I feel the feedback below makes sense. My reference letter was just dry. The bank only confirmed I have an account with them and stated the date it was opened. When I asked them to state the balance in the account, they told me to attach the statement given to me that they don't give out somebody's account balance to anybody.

JiggyFighter:
Never heard of this. In fact whenever I've applied for visas I've always used regular statements and I've gotten the visas all the time. As a matter of fact I move money around anyhow after applying and it has never been an issue. And yes even if you apply it doesn't mean you agree for your bank to give information to people on your behalf. What a bank can confirm is that they genuinely gave you the letter you submitted. They can confirm the existence of the account or that they truly gave a letter and it wasn't forged or that the information on the letter they provided was accurate. But for them to be providing details of your account activity to anybody is unheard of. Doesn't make a difference to me personally but if it's true then I'll be very surprised. Maybe somebody working in a bank can offer inside information.

Please has anybody successfully got PPR with retirement funds in recent past?
There was somebody here that dshare GCSM notes recently where the officer noted that he is not sure he has access to the pension money.
We need to know how that issue was resolved if it has been resolved.

Yes. I asked a question that clearly does not solicit that response. Post the reference letter for what? Will he help the employer to draft a new letter?

While I agree with you that the thread is going

I put my ITA/PPR at God's hand and not the part 4or 5 of a thread....God will do it at His perfect time.
You couldn't have said it any better, yes they are asking Simple questions. Buy I wonder why folks are more concerned with the movement of the thread than helping "lazy" people. If we rely only on reading, MANY WILL GET THINGS wrong. I repeat many E. G Ond and hnd are both two year program, but they are still regarded as two or more certificates thereby contradicting IRCC policy of ONE OF THE PROGRAM MUST BE A THREE YEAR PROGRAM. IMO We should be concerned about each other than just an ephemeral thread movement. Peace

Any particular reason for choosing WES? Ond/Hnd or PGD? Why not use another body that will not require verification because LAUTECH always has issues
thanks I studied civil engineering. I was told it’s Wes that could handle the professional course...is that true? B.Tech!!

There may be a thing or two we can learn from below.

COPIED!!!

Most young lawyers pray to leave court on time, especially when you are appearing in a court that is known for sitting longer than usual.

On a particular day, I went to court and luckily, my case was called first. It was just for mention and within 10 minutes, we were through. I rushed back to chambers, at least I could do some other things with my time.

When my principal saw me, he was surprised. His first thought was that the court did not sit, but I told him why I was back early.

The man looked at me and shook his head. He stopped what he was doing and told me to get into the car.

I did and to my greatest surprise, he drove me back to the same court. While I was wondering what we had come back for, he simply said ‘Go back into the court and listen to proceedings by other lawyers. You cannot learn everything you need to grow in this profession from staying in chambers.’

My happiness dissipated into thin air and I walked into the court. However the lesson has remained with me till date.

Instead of chatting away and burying myself in novels, I have become adept at listening to proceedings and learning from the experiences of other lawyers.

The knowledge gained is immeasurable and the mistakes avoided uncountable.

***************************************

Experience, they say is the best teacher, but it does not have to be your experience.

As a matter of fact, life is easier when you learn from the experiences of others.

You avoid a lot of pitfalls and the mistakes associated with a particular phase of life.

The fact that it is not your personal experience does not make the knowledge acquired less valuable.

Finally, learning from the experiences of others may shorten your days in the land of ignorance.]

If you choose not to read but to be spoonfed always to acquire what you need on this migration journey so be it.

Bro, I had all my POF in one bank, after about 4-5weeks of post AOR something else came up. I moved my 90% of my POF to another bank and bought TB. I did not raise any CSE as it was not necessary. Perhaps if they need an updated POF, then I will submit the TB to them. But since no ADR came, I didn't bither to do so.
But you loose nothing raising CSE, the chioce is yours. I just thought I share my own experience

jelmusboy:
Evening people of God. I moved my POF from foreign account to naija account, while still maintaining the required POF.

Should I inform IRCC about this move or until they request for it?

Everything has been said.. Even the OND + HND with WES equating to two or more certificates etc.

When my younger bro was preparing for his O'level.. No money to do SS3, so he did while in SS2. I told him to study just a little because majority wouldn't study at all.. He is doing his masters now in Germany. I no dey there with am in 9ja University and in Europe... How we do in 9ja shows here.. that was Canadianfly observation and it is true. So sad at the same time.

These abokis that VFS employed are crazy, I swear to God.

I went to VFS Lekki to submit my passport, when I got to the gate the security guy asked my my appointment letter. So I brought of my PPR printed mail, the guy looked at it and said "Please go outside, you dont have an appointment here". To think he was ignorantly arguing with me on my own PPR ohh. Perhaps he was looking out for a paper with bar codes and time & dates close to it.
When I wanted to force my way in, then his colleague came over and saw the PPR mail (weather he understood what he read, I dont know. All i wanted to was just pass and submit my PP and leave.) and gave it back to me.

Submission inside was smooth as I was there early and very few people inside the office. Within 30mins or less you should be done.
Please go with change ohh. FEE (#13890 excluding sms alert || #14350 including sms alert).

I paid #13900 excluding sms alert and collected my #10 change.

I don't know about that, though for professional accreditation in Canada you'd need wes to do a course by course evaluation.
