Hahaha half baked history they feed them in zoo....Igbo didn't start a war.....the hausa Fulani declared a war when they started killing Igbos in the north burning their house while they are asleep....and its not the first time neither was it the second....Igbo's has no option but to declare their separate state since nigeria can not accommodate them.....envy was what started all that....an Hausa Fulani man sees Igbo taking his job, work and land all because the white man company employed more Igbo's cause of their smartness to learn quickly and they are hardworking.....the ones in petty trading where making success buying shops

What a SANE MAN should ask is if Igbo's actually declared the war.....WHY WAS IT FOUGHT ONE SIDED

AFTER ABURI OJUKWU THOUGHT GOWON ACCEPTED TO LET IGBO GO AS THE AGREED IN GHANA....ONLY TO GET HOME TO THE EAST.....AND HAVE NIGERIA WITH WAR PLANES, TANKS AND GUNS AT OUR BACK JUST A DAY AFTER HE GOT HOME.....WE NEVER PLANNED WAR....WE DONT HAVE WEAPON OR ANYTHING.... WE FOUGHT WITH THE HELP OF FRANCE AND SOME NEIGHBORING AFRICAN COUNTRIES WHO SAW PITTY ON US....

MOST OF THE WEAPONS USED WAS PRODUCED IN AWKA

SOME WAS TAKEN FROM NIGERIA MILITARY WE KILLED

SOME WAS GIVEN TO US BY FRANCE

WE WERE NEVER READY FOR THE WAR.....COX WE NEVER HAD WAR IN MIND

#DONT LET THEIR MEDIA DECEIVE YOU WITH THE LIES THEY COOK UP TO COVER THE GENOCIDE THEY COMMITTED

After the war we were left with nothing RRR was a mare political promise they still want to wipe us out....by leaving us with nothing no matter how much you have in the bank

For an Igbo man to get job again in lagos, kano and the rest of cities where the war did not reach was impossible

They wanted us to die of frustration.... Thats when an Igbo man started taking the risk of traveling outside Nigeria through illegal ways by boat in the high sea, by desert all for job and better future....THOSE MEANS WAS HOW WE BUILT BACK OUR LAND FROM ASHES.....IT TOOK US RESILIENCE AND HARDWORKING

We stopped hoping on NIGERIA GOVERNMENT ANYMORE

#ENVY FROM Nigeria

I think the assertion by this Yoruba man is stupid (he even works in an academic environment). If Babcock University doesn't sack him, then they share the same opinion with him. Regardless of anyone's hate for any tribe they don't go ballistic on social media to castigate such tribes like this. Even though I don't believe in the white elephant project called Nigeria and also believe that it is a matter of time for it to disintegrate along ethic and religious lines, people with Alaba's ideology are not supposed to be in positions of influence. And if I may ask, why the unending rancor between Yorubas and Igbos? I think it is stupid to engage in squabbles like this and leave the major problems and challenges we face. There is an elitist group out there fighting tooth and nail to make sure that hate and acrimony like this continues among forward thinking ethnicities w(hich most of the time is to the benefit of these elitists). People, do not allow hotheads and agents used by these wicked elitists douse our resolve to demand for our rights. Yorubas are forward thinkers (so are Igbos) and very accommodating. Alaba only represent a minority of the misguided and hate-filled individuals among the Yorubas. I still want to say that Alaba's action is preposterous, inane, moronic, childish and imbecilic at most. Most people,(especially the youth of Nigeria) these days don't engage in activities that will free them from the shackles they have help the elitists put on them. We still allow ourselves as willing tools in the hands of these evil people. I think there's no better time than now to start revolution against these people and demand for what belongs to us. The present leadership composition of Nigeria does not have the answer to the problems of the nation, so lets start doing things differently.

DISCLAIMER

The attention of Babcock University has been drawn to a story
titled "Babcock University staff goes on a rant; Says Igbos
Should Have Been Wiped Out During the Biafran War".
The story is credited to one Alaba Ajibola.
This is to inform the public that the said Ajibola is neither a
staff of Babcock University nor does he represent the
University in any way whatsoever. The University admits that
the said Ajibola was once a staff of the Institution but his
engagement with the University in that capacity ceased long
ago. There is no longer any relationship, whether imagined or real, between the said Ajibola and Babcock University.
Therefore, the University dissociates itself from him and his
comments.
Babcock University's pride is in its diversity of people and
cultures. This confers upon the University its mark of
uniqueness. The Institution celebrates the diversity of
humanity because it gives a sense of beauty, and an
acknowledgement of the power of God, the creator of all.
Babcock University values every and all persons irrespective of creed, culture, race, religion, and political persuasions.
The noble achievements of the University have been made
possible by the the contributions of the exceptionally gifted
and immensely great individuals from the different parts of
this country, and those from other nations of the world, who
have found joy working in the University.
Whereas Babcock University believes in freedom of expression, and places premium on autonomy and responsibility, it is never supportive and does not wish to accede to any divisive tendencies intentionally or unintentionally couched, and are capable of inflaming the embers of discord, or potentially devised to dismember the nation.
The University wishes to thank members of the public for their
continued faith in the Institution, and for believing in it as
socially responsible.
The University will continue to promote love, unity, excellence,
integrity and accountability in all it does.
Yours sincerely,
Joshua Suleiman,
Director, Communication and Marketing, Babcock University,
Ogun State, Nigeria.

it's called (smartness) going to other places to exploit and take advantages of business opportunities , the indigenous people of those places, are too dumb and foolish, not to notice. The southwest is not more developed than China, yet Chinese people are always trooping to Lagos. Same goes for the Germans, Indians, Arabs etc. It's same thing igbos are doing. Ojukwu was agitating for due process for your sissy Ogundipe to take over after Ironsi was killed (being the second highest ranking officer after Ironsi) But the woman (Ogundipe) was scared to his bone marrows already, even without a fight first and ran away

You claim power was handed over to Yoruba's by force in 1999, but if I bring up another argument now, U will start preaching to me about how Obasanjo was Hausa-Fulani's choice and Olu Falae was Yoruba's choice
