The team will do better when players get fit. But these players are not world beaters.

Money spent not an issue because City has been spending since about 10 years to get to where they are. Remember the likes if Robinho, Adebayo, Lescot, Dzeko, Baloteli, Miner, Zabeleta, Clinchy, Nasri, and dozens more who were used for experiment before they won their first EPL title. Ferguson's refusal to spend is what other coaches who came after him are suffering. It would have still be okay if he bought such players like Lucas Moura, Hazard and Aguero. He always wanted cheap alternatives.

The players are mostly average. The more we watch Martial, the more we see he is overrated.

Ferguson was the one who left a big gap in succession plan.

Bailly and Lindelof not good enough? guess who signed them....... The fact remains that Mourinho has absolutely nothing to offer.
Let's just assume he was let down when the board failed to get him his defender, but is that the reason the team labors to create and convert chances? is that the work of the defenders?
