Hello Naija Corpers, past, recent, current and incoming Ajuwayas.

Have you guys heard of HiFL (Higher Institutions Football League). It is a football league for universities in Nigeria.

2018 marks the maiden edition and 16 teams are participating in it. The 16 schools cut across the north (Sahel Conference) and South (Coastal Conference) of Nigeria.

Here are a list of the participating teams.

NORTH (SAHEL)
1. UNIJOS HIGHLANDERS
2. ABU NOBLES
3. ATBU BRAVEHEARTS
4. UDU SULTANS
5. UNIMAID DESERT WARRIORS
6. ILORIN WARRIORS
7. UAM TILLERS
8. BUK STALLIONS

SOUTH (SAHEL CONFERENCE)
1. UNILAG MARINES
2. UNIBEN ROYALS
3. OAU GIANTS
4. UI PIONEERS
5. DELSU TITANS
6. UNIPORT SHARKS
7. UNICAL MALABITES
8. UNN LIONS

The league started in August and so far three teams have booked their place in tne next round: Uniben royals, UDU Sultans, UNN Lions.
