Igbos are terrible students who lacks the flexibility and intelligence to unlearn a lie and learn the truth:
Imagine Ameachi saying Awolowo hates igbos and so do Yorubas because they (Igbos) were given £20 each after the civil war irrespective of their balance in the bank before the war.
Kindly consider the following points to prove the foolishness of his assertions
1) In the SS that was an extension of the igbos historically all the properties owned by them (Igbos) were seized by indigine and were not returned to them after the war. But reverse was the case in the SW, igbos properties were returned fully to the various owners immediately they showed up after the war. Who hates the igbos more? The Yorubas that returned their properties or SS that confiscated them?

2) THE Biafran pounds wasn't a legal tender internationally apart from Biafra land and hence the values couldn't be determined economically. A pragmatic solution was found in giving every igbo man £20 to start life. Please note that present rate is #10000 and #10000 then isn't same as now. Infact as of that time it was a generous gift considering the number of people to be giving

3) After the 1959 elections with no party with required number to form the central government Awolowo volunteered to concede the prime ministership seat to an older Zik for igbos and Yorubas to form the central government and for him to be the minister of finance under Zik but while Awolowo was expecting a reply Zik quickly announced a pact with the NPC where he conceded the prime ministership to Tafawa Balewa, a position Awolowo already conceded to him (Zik).
Who then is actually slave of the fulanis? One who is ready to be a ceremonial president without any executive power just to be in the fulanis good book or one thinking of Nigeria as a whole by conceding the no1 seat for a mere ministerial appointment?

Ndigbos please don't believe my narratives just Google THE MAKING OF 1959 COALITION GOVERNMENT IN NIGERIA AT INDEPENDENCE.

Please i beg you forget the often repeated lies you have grown accustomed to and research on the events then. Sit and asked yourself again ARE YORUBAS REALLY OUR ENEMIES OR ARE WE THE ONES DESPISING THEM UNJUSTLY?

Those elders are almost senile don't allow their mental laziness as shown in their inability to reeducate themselves to be passed on to you and your children's children

The Igbos need to determine what exactly they want. They pass out contradictory messages too much.

They say they want Biafra or nothing.

In this report, they are worried that Presidency may not come their way in 2023.

They say they don't need the Presidency to develop.

They say they don't want APC, that APC will lose in 2019 and yet are worried about APC's choice for the Presidency in 2023.

Confusion!

U are the confused one. The average Igbo wants Biafra while the politicians are talking about presidency. U will be completely foolish if u term Igbos confused because of this. Hater.

Ethnicity and religion have come to stay in nigerian politics forever. There will be no MKO situation of muslim-muslim ticket anymore. That's why I laugh at Tinubu thinking he can be president.

If he chooses a northern Christian candidate as VP, the core muslim north will abandon him, if he chooses a northern muslim as VP, it will be seen as brazen Islamization, the SE+SS+ Northern christians+ Northern muslims in opposition party will vote against him.

I have always maintained that with current political atmosphere and ethno-religious awareness, it will almost impossible for a yoruba muslim to be president, even the chances of an Igbo presidency is brighter. You do the equation.
What happened to northern APC governors, tell me would they all defect because a Yoruba man was chosen, they don't reason like you igbos you know...sentiments instead of practicality.A Yoruba man would be the president and heaven would not fall.

Your region hate Buhari with passion and despite that he has given you more than what your PDP gave you. Now you want to be President and you want Southwest that fought for actualisation of APC to cede power to u. Democracy is game of number not region.
You can't rule the country you never believe in......just go and appoint president of Biafra.

Any Igbo who believed in the lie that the Igbos will get the presidency come 2023 by voting massively for Buhari & APC need to visit the nearest psychiatric hospital. It is impossible for a full blown jihadist (Buhari) to hand over power to igbos who he tag 5%, Disparage their women and kill hundreds of their harmless youths i.e Python dance

God bless you. A party of tyranny and nepotism will never have a place in Igbo land. They should go with their lies and propaganda. Igbos want restructut2d Nigeria and not useless presidency
APC doesn't not believe in restructuring so what do the Igbos want there? Cabbage

Igbo elders are the most funny set of comedians in this universe.

They take foolish decisions like drunkards but are not man enough to live up to the repercussions. When elderly Igbos were welcoming Kanu and younger ones were running after him, they didn't know that a day would come when they would need the votes of others.

You know the funny thing, if an Igbo man is put on the ballot today, Igbos won't vote for him. When ojukwu contested in 2003, do you know that he didn't win in any igbo state? It was in cross river that he got majority of votes.

That being said, we have Apga which represents us. Let them put an Igbo man and let's see how many Igbos would vote him.

At least, let's leave the shame within us and not fool ourselves before outsiders.

Which statistics are you talking about?

Will Hausa/Fulani abandon their own Atiku, Kwankwaso, Lamido, Tambulwal and vote for your tinubu who is even considered an inferior yoruba muslim?

As long there are northern candidates, challenging Tinubu, he will never be president. Infact it will be a walk in the park for the North+SESS in whatever party against tinubu.
Deep in your heart, you know it. There will be no yoruba president before an Igbo president.

@bolded is a fat lie! The core North, who're mostly Buharists, will not abandon Tinubu who will be running under their beloved APC! They're not as unreasonable as the IPIGs! They would reciprocate the favour Tinubu did for Buhari in 2015 & 2019! You think they would even vote a northern Muslim under PDP against Buhari's Tinubu after the PDP has stupidly painted themselves as a Christian & Southern party & APC the opposite, talk less of an Igbo candidate who will be like a taboo there?

Oga there is no way you can spin this, the East will not vote yoruba presidency before an Igbo presidency, this is a fact we all know. You people have insulted bragged too much by making it clear you'll never support Igbo presidency.

This is the equation for presidency.

Yoruba vs North+East

Yoruba vote yoruba = fail
East and North vote North + East = win

We've seen this situation in Awo vs Shagari.

This is practical politics without sentiments we are sorry yoruba have taken their turn, if they can't wait or clamour for Igbo to also have their shot. Then let almajiri rule till una get sense. Shikena. No hard feelings bro.

Sorry buddy, but every region reasons with ethnoreligious sentiments else buhari won't be in the presidency. Buhari is a product of ethnoreligious sentiment voted largely by almajiris and by yoruba because of Osinbajo. You can't deny that. grin

Now with ethnoreligious sentiment being a constant factor, know it now that yes Northern governors will decamp from APC and strenghten PDP or anyother party if a yoruba is chosen as candidate, you can take that to bank, tell them I said so. I'm only being real and practical.

If Tambuwal, Abdullahi Fatah and other northern Gov and politicians could decamp while Buhari is still president, why should they remain when Tinubu a lowly yoruba muslim (in the eyes of the north) is made the ultimate candidate of APC. Are they owing him? Afterall all is fair in politics according to you sophisticated ones always say.

Tinubu or any other yoruba for that matter will not be elected president as long a popular northerner is also running for presidency. This is just the plain painful truth that you yoruba must have to live with. The north and the East does not owe you anything, they've repaid June 12 saga with Obj presidency whom you even never voted for. No hard feeling, it just the game as you've always wanted it played.

Did SW vote for busting massively in 2015?buhari had fifty something percent while Jonathan had forty something. It is just shear blackmail from APC to cajole igbo to vote for them massively. Timi frank got it right. Tinubu has a pact already on ground after the 2015 elections that power will return to the southwest and buhari will keep to that pact. The shortest way to igbo presidency is through PDP. But I would advise they shouldn,t put their egg in one basket.

Just like I said, they don't know what they want. They rather prefer a different candidate who has two full terms to rule and hand over ti an igbo man than Buhari who has just one term left. The igbo leaders are supposed to arrange a meeting with the presidency to be sure where they belong. Ngige is a good choice and he's one of the most active politician who has his people at heart and who would be Buhari's choice as well.

Ndigbo has zero plan or roadmap how to actualize this presidential plan. Threatening others and making noise is not a plan.

By now, there should be a national unity tour by Igbo elders but no one is interested in that. Everybody is just disgracing Ndigbo everywhere.

Why are they so concerned about who will be APC 2023 presidential candidate? Is PDP no longer winning the presidential election next year? Atiku will run with Peter Obi on the PDP platform. He will serve for only one term and hand over to the Igbo. They should go with their arrangement with PDP and leave APC alone. What do they want with our amala and ewedu and Islamic terrorist party?

You're missing the point, man, as you're too emotional in your analysis!
The East is extremely irrelevant in electing anybody in Nigeria! The SS are a lot more important, so don't whine yourself!

The North is for Buhari & they'll go with whoever he chooses! If Buhari supports Tinubu in 2023, even if the PDP presents Atiku featuring Kwankwaso & Lamido, They'll go for Buhari's choice, especially when it's a Tinubu who immensely helped their man into power! So if the north votes for Buhari's candidate, who will still win Southwest, they'll just negotiate with the very reasonable SS (who actually don't care about the Igbos) & Tinubu wins!

The part in bold is good enough. You guys should please stick to this your shortest route to the presidency and leave APC and the south west alone. Igbo's have no stake in APC, they should stop making noise about who the party will give its presidential ticket to in 2023.

One thing I am sure of is Yoruba's don't really care where the president comes from as long as such person is ready to work and sticks to his promise

If the south east keep trying to be anti Yoruba, I am sorry they might be passing the wrong message

But there is one thing I agree with is the fact that tinubu is greedy and Yoruba's won't support him in his presidential ambition as well as saraki

If APC keep stick to buhari they will definitely fail but if they don't they stand a chance to win come 2019 alongside other vibrant and serious party thus the competition is high unlike before when its either PDP or nothing

2019 election will be interesting
