You wicked ooo...

Starting from page 1 of part 5 will be a nice thing to do since he's going for an Msc program.

When one starts something new, everything looks esoteric kinda, but with time, we tend to accustom to the tradition. I'm beginning to flow with this thread.

Chief you can do one year study at NOUN( National Open University of Nigeria) while still learning ur German language... I think there's a computer related coe there called Data analytics study.
By the time you're done with both your NOUN program and also improving your German language proficiency, you'll be glad u took that time out when you get to Deutschland.

The above is an advice, the decision is left for you sir... All the best! wink

Thank u sir for the advice ah appreciate
Buh i prefer the studienkollege
Any help on this will be highly appreciated. Thank u

Lol. See this uncle. You want studienkollege because you think it's easy abi? Let Jigba tell you all she went through with her studienkollege and her knowledge of German is high oh. From what I've seen you have no knowledge of German. Studienkollege no be beans oh.

It's better to get a 100L transcript and apply for English-taught courses. German education is already hard on its own, now add the burden of learning with a new language.

chairman, you are very lucky to have veterans coming to advice you on what lies ahead. Maybe you thought you have learnt German to a great extent, honestly you never jam. Even the English taught masters and bachelor's programs are giving guys extra semesters due to the intensity of the programs, not to talk of learning in German.

You have your choice to make, it's a free world. But when it sets, no be person go tell you. lest I forget, if you want to get information about studienkollege, contact jigba. All the very best.

What if the course one wants isn't being taught in English, what will one do then?

I've checked more than 10 schools of technology, and their electrical engineering program is German taught...

Any suggestion on what I could do to get an English taught electrical engineering program?

Your comment shows you didn’t consult Daad.de atall. There are many electrical engineering courses taught in English. Try to search well. Lemme give you some Universities to check:

1: TH deggendorf
2: University of Applied sciences Darmstadt
3: KIT
4: Beuth University
5: University of Kassel
6: OTH Regensburg
7: RWTH Aachen University
8: university of Rostock
9: Revensburg weintergen university of Applied sciences
10: Paderborn University

Next time try to search harder. Remember Electrical Engineering can come in different names.

Embedded systems, IT, Power Engineering, Microsystems, Communication Engineering are all under electrical engineering. Even if you study a course named Electrical Engineering, you will be required to specialize in one of these options I mentioned above.

Lucky you but I got for JLU, Giessen. Going for MSc studies sha but you can research on both University especially the city and how accommodation is at both universities, the courses you have been offered can play a role in your decision making too. Cheers

Admission is d easiest... Cos if u can get BA or SL then Visa is almost 80% sure! Except your village people are actively holding vigil on your matter then u better run to MFM

To you it might be. Hahaha. because what you stated as a problem was neva a problem to me and what you stated as being the easiest was neva easy for me (Thank GOD is now a tin of d past now).

In this race different persons with different challenge(s)/experience. So forget about village people and 1st check if the person is in same shoes with you b4 generalizing.

I know of someone whose sponsor base in DE and SL wasn't a challenge but for over 2 sections had admission challenges even with a good grade. As dere is another part called "Previous Course Content". If dis part speak against you hmmmm e pas village pple mata ooo shocked smiley

I'm so happy seeing selfless people who tend take out time to answer questions here...

One question
For one who wants to start the winter semester from October 1 to March 31, when is the right time to apply?
Because I'm trying to see if I could get to B2 with intensive learning and if not, I could go for an English taught program or rather, go for studienkollege as it will give me more time to read up on some courses on my free period.

I'll wish to leave here before October 1 if everything goes on well, so when is the safest time to apply, I know I can look up online, but I just need an answer from experienced dudes here that know how German admission works, as to know my level of daily learning of German.

Thanks for this...

I picked interest in mechatronics and both Electronics and mechatronics engineering are offered in English.

But I've yet another question, the school is more like the equivalent of technical college, so I'd like to know if their degree would make me eligible to get into any if the TU9 for masters... Especially Rwth Aachen or TU, München.

Thanks in advance
