When I traveled to Tokyo in 2015, my visa came out within 10 days. Not sure they bothered with Zenith bank or Diamond bank back then. It takes about 2 weeks for such confirmation.

I wish the Japan process will be easier...

yes japan embassy confirm account ..even all naija documents u summit will be confirm... from experience travel experience count alot and age like 40 plus ward and married

May be yours or they had a doubt.

My visa application was submitted on a Monday 28/9/15 and Visa was out Friday 2/10/15. Note 1/10/15 was even a public Holiday. They couldn't have confirmed my 3 bank statements in less than 2 days

That you do an entrance exam plus interview
For masters. I know this because I literally
Walked my girl through the process.

Plus before anything, you would have to drop something before any thing happens. The only way you get to avoid all that bullshit is if you by some miracle get the Mext scholarship. Which as you know, is a mountain on its own from Nigeria .

That lives you with language school. The language school will require that you drop half of the tuition before they send you admission letter. Which leaves you with the mountain of convincing the embassy that you will return after your Japanese language studies or if your unlucky, you will be asked to convince the embassy, why japan or the Japanese language. Are you seeing the picture?

There is a catch but quite costly
If you are an engineering student you must go as a research student for 6 months before becoming a masters student.
It’s during that period as a research student that you take the entrance exams into masters program.
A research student does nothing well apart from say learning Japanese
But you still have to pay tuition fee as a research student

6 months pre graduate program
You get to learn japanese for free on campus and get used to the educational system of japan and the university

Good-day all, I greet you guys for your efforts. Pls i have not been able to get feedback from about 5 supervisors in japan Universities i sent mail to. I even used google translate to mail them in japanese language and no response. Pls what other means can i get admitted as research Msc student.

First things first, what universities are you applying to?? Second, what is your research about? Third, what sort of email are you sending to these universities??

Also take into the consideration that there are two admission intakes in a year. April and September. You have missed both. Also take into consideration that depending on the course or the University rules, they may have restrictions like how many foreigners will be accepted in a year and all that.

I will give you a lit advise. remove Kobe from your list. Not because i dont think you arent qualified, but they are very picky when it comes
to selecting candidates.

look for proffesors in your course of study and send them mails
apply as a research student on the school admission page
its straight forwrad
national universities are cheaper and very very good

When you send out those emails, you have to state your research topic, how you intend to go about it and all that. Then ask them if they would be interested in taking you under their tutorship?

Nigerians have messed up its name in many areas. The fact that you state that you live and are from Nigeria would have raise a red flag. Just saying. How about your relative??
