Marry a japanese lady. Spouse visa qualifies you to work limitlessly. Alternatively, arrange with a company to sponsor your trainee visa. We got serious shortages of workers. But Nigeria passport holders hard but not impossible dreaonit: |

Re: Japanese Visa And Travelling To Japan by moonraker(m): 2:53am On Nov 01, 2018 |
blackbriar: Hmmmm. This statement is strange to me. For Foreigners in general, Katakana is used. Some organizations require that you put in Kanji characters. However, foreigners dont have kanji names (unless ofcourse they become citizens, in which case, they have to change their names to something that has a Kanji). Now in this case, Hiragana will be the next best thing. |
Re: Japanese Visa And Travelling To Japan by komia: 7:40am On Nov 01, 2018 |
blackbriar: The form is basically made for a typical Japanese which has 2 sections-kanji- Chinese characters and hiragana the simplified japanese characters. A foreigner lacks kanji. What’s mostly is normally done is you write that kanji section using Romaji ( normal alphabet). The other section you write katakana characters. That means you write your name twice which is the common and official way to write documents in Japan. |

id911: A trainee visa you need a company in Japan who are willing to sponsor your trainee visa( 2 yrs renewable). They have to indicate to immigration that the knowledge you acquire will be beneficial to your home country after you are done. Of course government not so keen on specifics as they have a serious labour shortage. Also many guys I know get married and acquire the spouse visa. How do you get a company to sponsor your Visa? Stay tuned. I will take you step by step how to go about it |
Re: Japanese Visa And Travelling To Japan by blackbriar: 10:44am On Nov 01, 2018 |
komia: For filling forms online.....the ASCI code is either hiragana full width or half width, the style of typing. It has not to do with romaji , kanji or katakana. It’s the spacing style and boldness when typing online for all japanese characters |

Re: Japanese Visa And Travelling To Japan by Nobody: 5:59pm On Nov 02, 2018 |
id911: I believe you should give Komia more time as Japan has long working hours, time difference is another thing (8 hours ahead). Also, he should please post the process here for all to learn. On my part, I fell in love with Japan (my username says it all) since I was ten (the culture, development, work ethic, safety etc.) and I am currently in my mid-20's; my ultimate dream is to study, work and reside in Japan for the rest of my life. Through the internet, I learnt the language (yet to write my N5 exams though). It has not been easy keeping up with the language as I have not seen anyone (physically) speaking or interested in speaking Japanese. Or does anyone know where someone can learn Japanese in Lagos (physical classes)? |

Re: Japanese Visa And Travelling To Japan by id911(m): 12:31am On Nov 03, 2018 |
NaotoKan: Yeah...I understand! I guess he might be having a very tight schedule at the moment. Concerning your last statement, I doubt if there's any Japanese Language Centre here in Lagos. I think there's non except I'm proven otherwise. I know of Korea Language Program but that one is at Korea Cultural Center in Abuja |

Folks , I haven’t updated the process as promised. Reasons is I’m searching, inquiring and checking on the information purposely for Nigerian passport holders. You guys will have all necessary information by Monday 5th. Meanwhile ask any questions related to Japan. I will definitely try to answer or forward to relevant people. |
Re: Japanese Visa And Travelling To Japan by beatmonster(m): 7:41am On Nov 03, 2018 |
which programming skills/niche are in high demand in Japan sir? Do they easily hire foreigners? |
Re: Japanese Visa And Travelling To Japan by id911(m): 9:24am On Nov 03, 2018 |
komia: Alright Sir! We will wait even beyond Monday or anytime you're able to get relevant info that could be of help. I learnt Japanese don't really mix with people of other race and there are very few blacks in the country. Are they receptive to blacks and could you share your experience about the country when you arrived? |
