‘Fear not saith the Lord’
What is needed from your sponsor is just proof of financial buoyancy. Anything that bolsters his financial status is just complementary and not imperative. What is imperative is his relationship to you, statement of account, why he wants to sponsor you, investments, share certificates, what he does for a living and proof, i.e. how he makes money, if he owns a business, deem it necessary to also include CAC documents, tax clearance papers, etc.
Excessive documentation may lead to redundancy and may bore the VO perusing your application.
Once again Fear not, your approval is on the way!
Cheers. It will end with praise.

pchilaka:
Good evening guys, when I submitted my application, I didn't include my Sponsor's International data page(s), is that really necessary? Do I send them now? I applied since July 20th.

I beleive the documents to submit on online application is pretty self explanatory after you have signed up and opened an online profile. Admission letters go where admission letter is suppose to be. Evidence of financial support are your bank statements, school receipt payment, letter of sponsor support or any scholarship letter. They have their own area. Then your CIC forms go where indicated. Every other document including your SOP go to the Client Information section.

Thanks alot, I appreciate!

You're to download and fill Application for study permit made outside of Canada imm1294, Family information imm5645, Schedule 1 Application for a temporary resident visa imm5257. One you get in the cic site and select study option, scroll down you see a blue underlined place showing get all forms in lower casing. Download the forms there. Look at the forms you're filling carefully because cic wouldn't treat if a wrong form is uploaded

Thank you!

Dear brother (hopefully, I'm correct), worry not yourself on your freelancing job. It is never an illegal business anywhere in the world. That you are having Canadian clients won't affect your chances of approval. Include it and back it up with relevant and available shreds of evidence.

Just to allay your fears. I'm a freelance writer too with clients in the US and Australia. Since what I'm doing isn't criminal or unlawful, why shouldn't I let the visa officer know? Won't that explain my study gap for the past two years? Except you have real reasons to fear, please go ahead and include it as part of your work experience. If earning from an application on iOS or a particular platform is illegal, I believe that as a Mobile app developer, you would have known. As such, if this is the case, refrain from towing that line (and probably stop it altogether).

By the way, the important aspects of your application are

1. Proof of enough finances

2. Proof that you would leave Canada after your studies

3. Purpose of visit.

Every other thing apart from these 3s are _jara_ Start working on these things and stop worrying on your freelancing job.

Shalom!

Thank you for your response bro.
But what am trying to say is that if my student visa is approved (by the grace of God) for a Masters program. When I get to Canada, hope taking freelancing job like developing mobile app for money from both Canadian and international clients cause problem for me because in my research I found out that for US F1 visa, it's is illegal to do so to the extent that even if you develop app and put it on Google Playstore or ios market and money is been sent to your US account it is considered illegal. So I just want to know if the same applies to Canada

How does your mobile ap help F-1 visa applicants and how can that help Canadian visa applicants as well? Need to know so I can tell you if your freelancing would also be illegal in the Canadian context.
Am actually talking about if am in Canada on a student visa. That will generating extra income from freelancing cause problem for me

Is not illegal......Before starting your freelance Job/ business, check with the Canada Revenue Agency to see if you need to register and find out the reporting requirements. You should also find out what provincial sales taxes may apply to your particular job / business....this is what someone I chatted with about this freelance job over in canada

That is why it is good to ask for clarification instead of jumping the gun and answering your question. Not at all. Your freelancing to earn extra income will not jeopardize your student visa status while in Canada.

Applying for fall 2019

Since you’re just applying, a copy of your transcript is what they need. It’s when you’re offered conditional admission that you have to make a request for your school to send your original transcript. Is it winter session you’re applying for?

I submitted my application since July without the temporary resident visa imm5257. What does this means?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by amoese: 11:10am On Aug 27, 2018
Good morning, please I am about to apply for my masters in Canada, I plan to apply for two years work leave from the office. My question is, at the point of applying for Visa, should I get the work leave first before the visa application or I can apply for the visa and let them know that I intend to get a work leave from my office. The reason I want to do the latter is that in case I don't get the visa I can continue with work. Kindly advice please. Thank you.

Hello Nairalanders,

I have always known God to always step in when it seems alll hope is lost. That's why he is God.
Now is the time to be more hopeful than ever and put all your trust in Him.

For TRV hopefuls schduled to resume next week. Keep faith and trust in God alive. He truely & honestly never ever fails!

For me its 10 weeks +, (Applied June 14th), praying and waiting on God. It will end in praise for us all in Jesus name.-

Amen.

You don't have to fill IMM5257 form as you'll be issued a TRV once your Study Permit is approved. It's optional to fill it. It has no effect on your application.

It takes at least 10 days for the web forum to get back to you. Write Lagos it’s a heck a lot faster for Lagos to look into the problem and get back to you. If you are for winter resumption, you have nothing to worry about, the problem would be sorted out in due time. Here is lagos’ address:
lagos.immigration@international.gc.ca

Thank you for the info. I realised that too from reading through the posts here. I have immediately fired an email to the Lagos and London visa offices, waiting for updates soon. I received confirmation from the London office that they have received my email.

Was actually for the Fall resumption, but have already requested deferral to the Winter semester. Waiting for my supervisor to get back to me on that.

Thanks again bro. All the best!

This one we have not gotten any Approval Testimony in a while, Izzit that peeps are not coming back here to share their testimonies of approvals or that CIC is still actually delaying. If it is the Latter, then I will assume they are keeping all the approvals for this week. So this week should be pregnant with approvals. And also for the peeps that got refused and have refused to come notify us here, please be strong and share ur refusals with us, so that we can together iron things out for you to re-fire and get ur Student Permits. Its too early to give up. Best of luck to the TRV hopefuls, This week is the week.
