Its already punishable by Nigerian law. I didn't make the laws. So its too late to condemn the arrest by Police. It attracts 14 years imprisonment once caught in the act. The reason those boys were releases is that they weren't caught in the act with evidence.

What you fail to understand is that, HIV is also affected by non-homosexuals, the virus is only common among gay men not gay women. It's normal to find homosexual relationship disgusting, what I'm against is those that physically harass, kill homos.

it's good to see that you have some knowledge of the bible but knowledge and understanding are two different things but I will not go into disecting scriptures now. Christians are not spineless. The most important thing is that in a secular country, there are pagans (idol worshippers, Hindus, Buddhists), Christians, Muslims, atheists, agnostics. Jesus never physically or metaphysically forced anyone to obey and worship God despite that he had the power. It's your personal choice. Salvation is personal. In Christianity, we do not believe that if you pull a gun at someone's head and force them to worship God, they will be saved and go to heaven. NO. The person must willfully worship God.

In a Christian institution, homosexualism will always be opposed because it is clear that God is against it. But Nigeria is a secular country and the constitution should not be dictated by the bible because there are Nigerian citizens that don't believe in God and the bible.

There is nothing like fake Jews. A Jew is a descendant of Jacob that follows the Torah not someone that was born in Israel. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah to show that he's a consuming fire and that he can kill by Himself. He does not need your need your help to kill. If he wants to punish gays he can do it Himself. God also killed Uzzah because he wanted to help God carry his Ark.

If we are still to fully follow the Old Testament, then Jesus's dying on the cross was useless. Now Jesus fulfilled the law because we couldn't do it ourselves. The Jews in the old testament kept making sacrifices of goat, ram and bird because they couldn't fulfill it. If we were to keep obeying Moses, we would still be sacrificing animals.

Honestly homosexualism irritates me too, I cant even think of it but in my religion, we don't oppress/punish people because they are different, as long as they are not harming anyone. If God wanted us to be forced into living a certain way, he wouldn't have given us the power of choice. Besides Christianity is not a political ideology. Jesus never delved into politics. That is why there is no Christian country in the world today, even countries that have 99% of the population as Christians. They are all secular because Jesus's life portrayed that church (religion) and state(politics) should be different "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's".

You really cannot understand the words of Jesus by merely reading them without spiritual understanding. You would make a great Christian. You would do exploits for God because it is clear you are like to study. You would be like Apostle Paul. I'm saying all this because I'm actually not the most devout Christian but I just try to be a decent person based on the basic principles of the Bible and pray continually that God makes me a better Christian by the day. But I've read the entire bible, and I've been going to Church all my life and I just deemed if fit to answer these your questions. I honestly like the fact that you are somewhat knowledgeable about the bible because I have never read the Koran myself. I have only listened to Muslim teachings where the Koran was repeatedly quoted.

I'm saying this because there is a gay person I know very well. This guy told me he can never change that he has settled it with God. You would guess that he's gay because of his effeminate behaviour but you would never catch him in the act. Then he told me himself one day. This guy is hardworking but tiny and crazy/bold. This led me to research more on their psychology and I saw that this was a big political issue in the US in the 80s. Many of these people are doctors, engineers, journalists. Some of them are very responsible people. There is even a very very popular footballer playing right now that I am sure we will still find out one day that he his actually gay.
