Am experiencing the same thing.

WES with their 'whala', has anyone noticed the unnecessary slow nature of transcript and verification mail acknowledgement in candidates profile?
Two friends and a family member that their transcript or verification mail from school received by WES last week is yet to be reflected in their profile and this week is almost ending.

WES....................I comment my reserve.

Please house what's the tie breaking rule? Make una no vex o biko

I have an existing EE profile that will expire next month cos hubby initially wasn't keen on the canny stuff and did not do ECA or ielts and my score was low based on age and low ielts. But I've aced ielts now, hubby too has done ielts, waiting for ECA which will give us CRS score of 441.

My question is, do I withdraw the existing EE profile and create another one or should I wait for it to expire next month then create it again?
Or, should I just wait for hubby's ECA to be ready before diving into the pool?

Thanks.

Good evening all, please I do need an assistance to the following query.
If I put 2 jobs under work history for a principal applicant and also 2 jobs under work history for the spouse, will I be asked for references for the jobs?

Tie breaking rule explanation

If I have a profile that I opened on the 20th of June and at present my score is standing at 441 and the draw holds and the draw score is 441 and the tie breaking date is June 21, since I entered the pool before 21 June, I will receive ITA, but if my friend with the same 441 score entered the pool on the 22nd of June, he will not receive ITA.

Sooooooo.dont delete your profile, the next draw date is September 5, so update your profile to reflect your present situation. Keep your fingers crossed and wait for the profile to expire on its own.

I hope you understand my explanations.

Had the same issue too. I called Wes, the customer rep said they are having so much backlog. That it will likely take 3-4days before I have a notification in my account. My school verified on Friday lastwk, notification changed on Wed (2days ago).
Hope this helps.

Does it mean one can actually upgrade IELTS score when already in the pool. I scored 8,8.5,6.5,7.5 in LRWS. I'm thinking of writing another IELTS. Should I enter the pool and update my IELTS score when I get a higher score or should I wait to get the scores first before entering the pool?

Yes it’s best to be in the pool and then work on upgrading your IELTS. As soon as it’s upgraded, you can enter the new scores and exam date.

Be ready to provide work references for all the jobs you put in work history as a primary applicant.

But as a spouse, ordinarily, you shouldn't be asked to provide work references for your jobs(no point is even attached to spouse years of experience except if it was acquired in Canada) but some visa officer can ask for it just to corroborate your stories/application

To avoid this buhaha,

When filling your profile before ITA, fill only work history for the principal and none for the spouse. Then when you receive ITA, you will then fill that of spouse under Personal history

Upgrade or rewrite?

If by upgrade u mean asking for a remark, note that the result can't be used to go into the pool until the remark is out

You don’t need an agent. You can do it yourself and it’s super easy.

If you are upgrading, then you cannot enter the pool except you have completed the upgrade.

But if you are writing a new one, then you can use the old one in the pool while awaiting a new one. All you will just do by the time the new one comes in is modification by overwriting the old.

It is almost obvious to me that the customer service guys give generic information on this subject matter. As one clearly told me today that they don't have access to the mail box where schools reply to, so they can only confirm school mails when the evaluators had reviewed the mails and updated candidates profile before they can give callers update in that regards.
So I guess they have backlogs to deal with or they changed their mode of operations, hence the delays. Meanwhile, I suggest we just keep our fingers crossed and see how it goes next week, before asking school to resend.
This is abnormality is becoming the new normal for them.

What?! Don't you delete that profile. I really pray you get ITA before it expires next month. At 441, your crs score isn't super high. That means you're highly prone to tie breaking rule and the fact that your profile is old, may be your only saving grace.

Request that Unilag resend the verification by email and/or by post via courier (delivery 4-5 days) / registered mail by NIPOST (15 working days).

From your explanation above, I can deduce that your 441 is a projection predicated on your hubby ECA report. If that is the case, then your chances of getting ITA before your profile expires will be greatly determined by your hubby ECA.
Will the ECA be ready on or before your profile expiration date? Your answer to this will point to your expected outcome.
Don't delete it just let it run its full cycle.
Goodluck!

The delay is from Unilag don't be deceived. The staff generally have lackadaisical attitude and believe they are doing you a favor. I will advice whoever needs his verification done to call the school, have them confirm that they have seen it i.e received WES' email. Upon confirmation create time to visit them on the approved days and go and sit there till its done. Otherwise, it is very possible that you will still be waiting for verification by January 2019.

It is either the unit is understaffed, the staff are lazy or they do not understand the importance of some of these things. Why can't they not have a definite timeline for processing transcripts regardless of how many requests they have at any point in time? But if I am willing to grease the palms of some random officer, the transcript gets sent or verified in good time. It's a pity I am out of the country for now, I will have scattered that their office as I have done in the past. Funny people verified Diploma and forgot to verify BSc....possibly because one staff was eating fufu while responding to email, three 440 draws later and I'm still waiting for verification.

If you're a unilag staff reading this please print it and drop on your registrars table. Nah only money unah know !!!!!!

Most likely unilag. Make sure your institution attaches a copy of your statement of result or certificate,if not WES might decline the verification.
