Two North Carolina women, Michaela and Candice are being charged with felony child abuse after allegedly given three children an apparent marijuana cigarillo to smoke.


Michaela Pearson, 21, and Candice Little, 18, are being held at the Forsyth County Jail on three felony counts of child abuse and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, online records show.


On Thursday, a judge lowered the women’s bail from $150,000 to $100,000 each.

They were arrested by Winston-Salem police after the department received numerous complaints about a video, originally posted on Snapchat, which showed them holding a cigarillo to the lips of 3 children, with ages 2-years, 3-years and 18 months. According to reports, the women were babysitting the children.

At one point in the video, as a little girl takes a drag and begins to cough, one of the women can be heard saying, “Oh yeah, big gasp.”

The children were rushed to a local hospital and are still under observation.
