Visa Denied because of discount from OAKBEND Medical center.

we had our last baby in 2015 at oakbend, fees were pre-agreed before we traveled and the usual discount was given to us. (the breakdown received from the doctor indicated hospital fee as 2,300,, amongst other fees) eventually after baby birth .. the bil from the hospital showed our final bill as 2,300 which is inline with what the doctor told us ... but the bill also indicated that about 9,000 had been discounted to arrive at the 2,300 we paid.

our interviewer wasn't convinced that the bill was just 2,300 even after we presented the latter from the hospital which was addressed to the consular explaining the discount received.

i am so confused right now, my wife is pregnant again and i am now considering canada (dont know if this will be a red flag for the canadian process too), we have written the hospital to write them again.. and also i am thinking of paying US-attorney in US to visit the hospital and the embassy/consular to set the records straight.

any advise or recommendations will be highly appreciated. thanks

These guys seem to be doing the unexpected and abnormal daily. Oakbend has joined "bad gang" (so to speak) too? Maybe there's something else regarding your situation sha....

Was that visa gotten for birthing purposes the last time? If not, was it first used for the purpose for which it was issued before going for the birthing trip?

Did you guys present a zero balance from Oakbend? Because they usually strongly word their zero balance to state that they did not accept any state funds on your behalf. I'm honestly surprised to hear this.

Goodmorin Eliza, please I need your help as per giving birth in cook county hospital.I also have intentions of using the hospital.please can you assist with either the phone number of the hospital or the email address.also i don't mind if you can give me your whatsapp number. Your swift response will be highly appreciated.

They will not respond to you. It’s a walk in hospital and will not give u much information before you register as a patient.

Hi everyone, please I need your advice. I want to go to Chicago via Delta Airlines. There will be a stopover in Newyork. Will the point of entry be in Newyork or Chicago? I’m really trying to avoid Chicago point of entry. Has anyone ever had a connecting flight with Delta Airlines?
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Sandypat: 4:14am On Sep 02, 2018
Hi, just ensure you don't enter through Chicago POE.

My two cents!

Please run away from Maryland. Talking from experience. Try Virginia since it’s close to Maryland

POE is usually the first place your plane touches ground in this case NYC

Again I ask, what is wrong with Chicago POE? Let's stop creating this fear for people please. As long as your intentions are genuine and story coherent/straight forward, you have nothing to fear.
