A child that grows in a a community where all he know is that a male gets married to female. He/she have never seen or doesn't even have idea about same sex marriage, how will the child just develop such concept.

So in other to create the awareness, they create cartoon characters of such in other to introduce it to kids.

Therefore, if a child lives in a community that does not practice same sex marriage and never have to watch it in cartoons, the child will have no idea of such and wunt even dream of developing such habit.
