Live Location

1. Open WhatsApp, tap the new message icon and select the contact with whom you wish to share your location. This also works within groups. Tap the paperclip icon in the ‘Type a message’ field and choose Location.

WhatsApp will warn that ‘Participants in this chat will see your location in real time. This feature shares your location for the duration you choose even if you’re not using the app. You can stop sharing at any time’. Click Continue.

3. Select how long you wish to share your location with that person – 15 minutes, 1 hour or 8 hours. You can add a comment if you like, then tap Send.

4. Your contact will now receive a message with a map that shows your current location, which will continually update during the time period you specified in step 3. At any time you can stop sharing your location by tapping ‘Stop sharing’ in the chat thread.

This will be helpful when someone wants to visit a friend in a new or different location instead of typing addresses and all the stress that you have to go through asking one person or another, I have been using GPS for a long time now b4 whatsapp introduced their's I think it's a good idea to try it out

Not true all the online stores are useing location tracking device to make their day to day delivery,like me I don't use address on my jumia app I just give them the location that I am at that moment when my package get to ABJ and dey will bring it to me, so for get that talk say na who no get work go dey track person
