Lagos should be the capital of the Atlantic province |
| Re: Positive Things Restructuring Nigeria Will Bring! - Foreign Diplomat Reveals by Obakuso: 5:11pm On Sep 01, 2018 |
PFRB:The Oba of Lagos,His Highness Oba Rilwan Akiolu, actually does a very good job in steady making Lagos into an economic powerhouse for Africa. The Oba is also very adamant about security and making sure that crime and social disorder doesn't interfere with the progress of Lagos, so I can see how Lagos would win the title for being capital of this Atlantic province. His Highness Oba Rilwan Akiolu, is one of the few monarchs that takes an active political role in his traditional territory. Nigeria overtakes South Africa to Become Africa's Largest Economy, mainly due to Lagos economic progress https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scDDnD9RP0U |

Obakuso:Do not neglect to build up the surrounding suburbans, rural areas leading to Lagos because this will drive more people into the city and drive down progress due to overcrowding, crime and disease will rise. |

chiagozien:Aburi Accord was a historic illegality which would have made the country 100 times more lawless than what we currently have if it had been implemented. If you want detailed analysis as to why so, I will gladly oblige you. |

chiagozien:Good! Here they are: 1. Aburi Accord was an agreement hurriedly put together by individuals acting on emotions rather than deep thought, reason and extensive debates that characterize genuine law making process, hence it was bound to be fraught with a lot of loopholes that would have later created room for constitutionally approved lawlessness and eventual anarchy. 2. Aburi Accord was a proposal for confederation contrary to the sovereign will and choice of the people expressed as federalism in the we-the-people Independence constitution of 1957 drafted in London by duly elected representatives from every federal consituency thus in line with universally accepted standard procedure of constitution drafting. 3. Unlike the 1957 Independence and 1963 Republican constitutions, Aburi Accord was drafted by the military establishment which had already subverted and destroyed our sovereign constitution without us demanding a construction review in the first instance, and without them explaining to us why they did so. Also involved in the illegality were unelected civilians and civil servants who, by the civil service anonymity principle, should not be heard let alone participate in politics and the legislative process which derives from it. 4. It is a universal principle of democracy that it is civilians that make laws for military, and not the other way round as we have with Aburi Accord. The military must be subject to civilian and in fact elected politicians' authority. But while drafting the agreements in Ghana the soldiers in attendance, including Ojukwu, mocked and derided the politicians all through and even accused them of causing the crisis which was actually caused by their own mutinous fellow army officers who staged a coup that had no place in our constitution. 5. Among all the seven points of the Accord, there was no agreement on return to civil rule which majority of Nigerians were expecting back home, no fixed date for any election, nothing! it was all agreements on how soldiers were going to share power henceforth among themselves along regional lines. It was a regional army proposal. Where on earth is regional army ever operated? Those soldiers with the shared regional powers would have later had their emotional wounds healed with time and then unite into one big family which would have evolved into a perpetual and United power hegemony over the country. 6. With the implementation of the Accord, a precedent would have been set that any set of soldiers who don't like our sovereign constitution can just wake up from the barracks one day, allege corruption against the civilians, kick them out of power, throw away the constitution, pack themselves to a far away country, bring up another constitution from their own whims and caprices, return to the country, foist in on the people and go scot free. Then after sometime, another set of soldiers reapeat same, and it continues like that. You know soldiers always have a "good" reason to dislike an existing constitution drafted by politicians. Was that the kind of Nigeria you wanted? |

It is a great way to get out of this quagmire but the legendary parasites won't like this. Our parasitic neighbors to the east and north don't believe in themselves and the future of their regions, they just have to hang on Yoruba's tail to death. |

You need to stop being an ass! Why mixing the only culture that survived slavery with this topic? Oyotunji is the only African village in the western hemisphere founded by descendants of slaves, another feat that sets Yoruba apart from the wannabes. If you are an ojulowo omo Yoruba, you will create a special thread for it. Thank you btw for bringing it up, we need to make it a Mecca of some sort for Yoruba groups in the US and have thatched roof guest houses built for people to stay overnight if they don't already have them. I just found this too about Oyotunji and they already have very old mud and thatched roof guest houses, I hope they renovate them since according to them, they were built back in the days when there was no electricity and running water. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCPG-JtCt-k Walamu: |

wowcatty:Its called over exposure. Flooding social media with a thought you want to resonate with the people. I have been showing you arrogant ignoramus how its done. If you were even paying attention to how social media is done you would copy my technique and you would own a portion of the online media. Like you have a large group, how come you don't get your people to flood the social media with your agenda? How come you are so indirect? I am sure you don't worship Sango enough. You're supposed to worship each deity with equal measure, you put too much into Oshun. You need some fire, you need Sango. Sango burns down everything like fire, it spreads everywhere and that's how you must do social media. This is the Aeon of Sango so I have it right. You need to do more study of Yoruba cosmology and African slave history. The first act His Majesty Oba Ademfuni I was establish the Sango Temple in New York City. It was there after his followers began to worship Sango did they find the courage to build Oyotunji. Sango is the Alaafin of Oyo and the Oba of Kuso. Never forget that because this is one of the taboos that people make when worshiping Sango forgetting to show respect to the living Sango. Ase Love Sango |
