Please gurus in the house since early last month my status has been on eligibility review .Till now nothing yet have sent them mails no reply n I applied online since April. Have defer my admission to January cause the one with them have expired. Please should I do a upfront medical ?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by mightyola: 9:41am On Sep 03, 2018
If you have deferred your admission to January, I guess there is no rush to do medicals. You can wait for medical call, just my opinion.

@jnyuwa02, thanks a lot.

jnyuwa02:

You won’t encounter any trouble as long as you go within a reasonable time to your resumption date. So anytime after June 2019, you can travel and if POE proffers a reason for coming early, tell them you came to get acclimated to your new environment before school starts. The problem with coming way to early is that they will think you came to work before school starts and can deny you entry. A visa is not a guarantee that you will enter Canada, the real permission is with the officer’s discretion at POE. So better to be safe than be sorry!

Hi guys, I I've been following the thread for while now.
I'm set to apply for visa for January semester.
Among the document to submit;
1. I saw affidavit of sponsorship and again sponsorship declaration on one of the samples. How do I get them if they're not the same thing?

2. Is it advisable to do medical upfront or just wait until I'm asked to and like how much Will the medical cost?

3. Any other useful input will be highly appreciated

Thanks.

Hello Nairalnders,

I pray that this month shall be a September to remember.

As many of us that are praying and waiting on God for our TRV's, I pray that host of heaven would not rest until our prayers are answered in the mighty name of Jesus. It will end in praise for us all in Jesus name. Amen.

Have a week filled with testimonies and favour!

Good day House... Trust everyone is doing well today.
Please I am considering the possibility of changing my school to University of Saskatchewan for a masters program in Finance with a second class upper division. Please i need advise esp from those who have gotten admission from this school. Does University of Saskatchewan make GMAT mandatory for graduate programs and if advance payment of fee is a prerequisite for issuing acceptance letter. Will be highly grateful for your response.

Really!!!. Okay email International Africa <IntAfrica@fanshawec.ca> and address it to Faduma Green and also copy <aonar@fanshawec.ca>.

Tell them that you are still waiting to hear from the embassy concerning your study visa and also state how long your visa application has taken so far. Make sure you put your full name and student number as the subject. They will surely reply,although it's Labor day in Canada, so you might not hear from them today.

Frankrobbn1:

Those that were slammed with a refusal after sending a CSE are paper route applicants and I must let you know that it's not because of the additional documents they sent that led to their immediate refusal, either it's probably the Visa officer in charge of their applications has already finalised/concluded with their applications. What I figured out was the CSE they sent only helped to fast track a response to their application decision, but never attributed to their refusal.

In regards your question, all paper applications are currently treated at Nairobi. Majority of online applications are processed in London, while of them are hanled at Lagos visa office. Your long-waited (14 weeks) application is most likely to be processed at the London visa office, they are always slow in visa process. Fall terms are generally known as a peak period for every Canadian embassies across the globe, because all schools in Canada have resumption date for this term. So, getting a response during this "Rush" season is usually not an easy task for the visa officers. Hence, continue sending a CSE to them owing to the fact that your application has exceeded the normal processing times for Nigerian applicants. You will surely get a response from them!

My application is also a mirror of Biakwa's own. A CSE was sent and I got a response of my application is currently under active review. Hopefully it will speedup the positive response from CIC!

Guys, I got 2 admissions into 1. University of Toronto - Economics (1year)
2. Schulich School of Business (York University) - MBA (2years)

While applying for my TRV, I used my admission credentials for UoT to get my TRV, now I would be leaving on the 7th of September. Hypothetically asking, should I go to York University and discard my admission to UoT, due to the duration of 2 years, which is a longer stream....,,,will there be consequences for this?

Remember this is a hypothetic question. Honest answers pls.

You can use the LOE to address the concerns of the visa officer. Whilst, the SOP can be your study intent, your academic background, why CANADA not NIGERIA, future goals and prospects etc.. Myself did the same and I advise applicants to follow suit. But, if you are short of ideas and don't have much to discuss, it's good you make use of one.

it would've been simpler if you had replied my question, unlike this mess you just wrote. Yep, I read 6500pages for a period of 3 months, never dispute that! Please let this be the last time I would've to reply your badly written English, ok!
makano:
Madam take am easy na, U read from Part 1 to part 14 and no one spoke on what medicals entails? Thats a fat Lie. If u read frm late last month till now(just on this part 14), I can say of two instances where It was mentioned. Just ask ur question in peace, u dnt need to lie u read from part 1 to 14, do you even know what that means, each part has 500+ pages thats = 500 x 13 (excluding part 14) = 6500pages. So u read 6500 pages.. Dis is funny seriously..

You can do that when you arrive at Canada since the two schools are based in Ontario.
I think you should mail CIC(when you arrive) , informing them on change of school and the duration.
Based on your explanation so far It seems you got a 1 year visa and 2 years from York will help you alot in terms of pgwp and the rest.

It's just an opinion based on what have been reading here so far.
Wait for others contribution on this.
