How can you explain to a sane person that a cab that load at Berger and charged the passenger 2k with pay 800 to union and others as tax. Danfo drivers pay more than 10times daily once they stop at any bus stop along Apapa -Oshodi Expressway.

Taxation in Lagos is insane but you don't see what they are being put into, no public water supply, you pay vigilante every month, you pay NEPA, you pay for yours refuse to be disposed by agbokis because the LAWMa has collapsed, you pay all manner of insane taxes, infact small businesses in Lagos don suffer, the hawakers are not left out.

Anambra State should reduce the transaction of government businesses with physical cash, all the miscreants should be shoot out of the streets.

You have a point bro, my parents took me to that Enugu zoo when I was much younger and I remember how malnourished the lion was. But our children should still see some wildlife. I remember my child asking me the nearest place we could go so he can see an elephant and a lion in real life.

this post is just wonderful. Lagos tax system is evil and should never to copied in Igboland. I still dey pity those danfo drivers in Lagos, once they stop at a bus stop and pick passengers, they must pay tax and this happens more than 10 times everyday let's not also forget that they also pay money to register their vehicles as commercial vehicles, they pay for Lagos state driver's license and road worthiness levy. Shop owners in Lagos make use of taxation cards which they use in paying th eir taxes electronically, Anambra can adopt this particular system to ensure that nobody steals government's money

Yes i understand your point. But in the case of Anambra it is 100% loan free unlike Osun budget that based on loans.

Anambra budget is realistic based on what the state gets internally and externally devoid of loan.

Enugu state has a better structure for revenue generation , which they inherited from the old Anambra state. That machination is what is yielding all the revenue you see today. Anambra on the other hand is yet to lay the proper framework for revenue generation.

saw this gas pipeline being laid from ogbor hill axis of aba, to around osisioma (close to udeagbara factory complex).Time constraint meant I couldn't verify if udeagbara or a new company,is responsible.
