Please is the redmi 5a (2gb 16gb) IR blaster supported? I've got someone here who is crazy about using the device just for that purpose.

Lol na so. Used the N3 and F7 before porting from S2 to S7Edge, experience is different

I don't really know much about that.. But there shouldn't be any issues but don't let the battery run down completely.

BTW which one did you get? I'm still eyeing the Mi Mix 2s or the new Mix 3 coming out

This should be the most repeated question here. Only difference is that Global Version has band 20 while Global rom don't have that. It's important only if you intend using SMILE 4G, might be useful too if you are located in an area covered by a small fraction of MTN 4G coverage.
