lol. Yes. But for a complete novice to cover and perfectly understand half of the materials in the homestudy and become at least decent in programming, it could take over a year. So yes, it is not really true that you dont need to have any prior experience/knowledge. A novice cant master half of what is in the homestudy between the period of application and assesment tests/bootcamp.

It takes time and regular practice (practical application) to be good at it. Period between application and interview/bootcamp is just about 2 months.
I know Everybody brain no bi the same , but no matter how quick you are in assimilating, you can only MASTER very little of what you're supposed to know in 2 months.

it's not even about assimilating, designs and principles need to be understood, unless he want to become a mediocre developer writing noisy codes

I am not sure that's entirely the reason. Completed the Google form the very last day...I am in bootcamp atm

By google form, you mean the home study test?

Andela is not known for disseminating such information to the public. Moreover, their pay should be decent for a start.

In my own candid opinion, money should not be a motivating factor in joining Andela at this point. The truth is if you're successful you will be working with smart individuals and also get to work with some of the fortune 500 companies and great tech startups. And as for me... that in itself is a better motivation for me than money.

Thinking along this lines will help you going forward with the recruitment exercise. #WeWillAllMeetAtAndela
