I was at the NPC office in Ikeja LG council in May and was told to pay 11,500 for attestation (10k + 1k5 for affidavit). I went directly into the office oo, not the agents that hang around. When I told the lady that the official cost is 2,500, as I saw online, she told me to go and pay online na and just ignored me.

grin grin.. I paid 6,000 to get mine. Told the lady who attended to me it was 2,500 on the website. She laughed and said "..that was a long time ago".

Morning All

Please I have a question..

Can someone evaluate CIPM(uncompleted) for additional scores?

I read WES evaluates CIPM as a second degree but what if someone just completed intermediate ii? Can it still be evaluated for more points? Please help.

Thanks.

Unfortunately not dear. From my findings, we’ll need the membership no for the evaluation which can only be gotten from your certificate upon completion/induction as a member. I’m even yet to begin my Int II exams.

IJMB I don't know but it might just be similar to A Levels which might b evaluated as high school

Pre-degree some have evaluated and it came out as positive.

Thanks @Ramj. Please could you link me to anyone who evaluated it? Or if you mention their name here, I could search them out. I will appreciate it.

You might need to use the CIC form and let us know how it goes so others might learn.
Nobody has posted on this thread getting refund directly from Canada.ca.

PS: The refund is only for those who paid HST back in the days. WES now allows you to avoid paying it.

cc:savagebanker

I was among does that paid “back in the days “ by the time I realised that I could get a refund which was May this year WES had already started sending that link as response to one’s query bad till date no one has been able to successfully get a refund by filling does lengthy forms with tiny words....

Ok...let me use myself for the illustration. If I begin with Intermediate II stage now,I’ll finish by Feb 2020 (because my first exam will be in Feb 2019; their exams are only in February and August). Then Induction follows some months after or so. Hope you get the maths

How can getting proof of funds of 9m naira guarantee job offer in Canada before getting the PR. I had submitted EE profile. We are family of 3 though and the principal applicant is applying as a Chemist
Your response will be highly appreciated.
the offer is closed now, maybe i would contact you some other time. I can't say much here cos Nigerians abuse opportunities

I only accessed my masters using Wes but I've always had it in mind to someday (before travelling) access my degree for employment reasons/quest to further my education in Canada.

Unfortunately I can't deal with the current WES WAEC wahala so I'm thinking of going with iqas.
Question-would I be able to use iqas evaluation for further studies in Canada?

I read somewhere its only WES that does course by course evaluation. @glitteringstar, ysteh, newmum0615 and all. Any idea? Please help clarify.

PS: Degree na Bachelor of Laws (LLB)

joo2018:
Some speculations on the delay in IRCC passing medicals after AOR.

A lot of people have talked about a seeming change in the process of AOR to PPR. The general observed process was AOR – NA1 – MEP – IP1 – NA2 – IP2 – NA3 – PPR – CoPR. The idea seems to be that it is only if medicals has passed that other stages of the process can continue. But now, medicals or MEP seems bypassed.

I posit that it is due to changes in the medical inadmissibility policy. In April (implemented June 1), IRCC made 2 changes:
a. increasing the cost threshold for medical inadmissibility to 3 times the previous level, and
b. amending the definition of social services by removing references to special education, social and vocational rehabilitation services and personal support services.

Before, applicants may be found inadmissible if the services required to treat their health condition or that of an accompanying dependent is anticipated to cost more than the annual cost threshold, which, for 2017, is $6,655 per year and $33,275 over 5 years. This affected approximately 1,000 permanent and temporary resident applicants who receive a medical inadmissibility finding. This is 0.2 % of applicants who undergo medical screening.

By raising the cost threshold 3 times to $19,812 per year, IRCC has made medicals almost irrelevant. If before 99.8% of people pass medicals, then virtually 100% will pass now. Medicals is now just a formality and can be done at any stage of the process. It can even be the final stage that will trigger PPR.

My 2cents. Relax on whether you have passed MEP or not. Your application processing is still going on.
