Who is not Igbo? I'm from Amaekuma Ezeke, Amasiri, Afikpo North LGA. Let us continue passing blame to Afonja for our inability to unite and see ourselves as equal instead of solving the problem and see where it leaves us.

trust me they are some dialect u can understand in ebonyi examples of them are dialect from ohaozara,okposi,onicha but am sure u cannot understand someone who is from nsukka in enugu or do you understan agbor dialect but all are igbos united by cultures and traditions but different tongues

As an Ohaaozara man who was previously from IMO state, then to Abia, with no ancestral connection to Abakaliki, then some one suddenly starts calling me Abakaliki man just to downgrade me, possibly because I'm from Ebonyi State simply means that some people are poor in logical thinking. I'm a proud Ebonyian but not Abakaliki man, I'm rather an Ohaaozara Man and would prefer to be addressed as that.

Well I myself is an Ezzaman(every one knows me here) from Ezza Ezekuna ancestral home, many of us were caved from different state to form the present Ebonyi state.
Ever since the state were created all parts of the state were developing rapidly but I don't know the reasons behind this thread?
That people called you 'onye Abakaliki' or whatever shouldn't make you/us to deny or dissociate with ur fellow state people.
Look at Anambra state for example, no part of the state can go as much as opening a new thread in a public forum just to denigrate his fellow brothers.
The Afikpo people and Ohaozara guys I know are very happy being in Ebonyi state and the state is also a blessing to all his people.
I don't want to dwell much on this thread because what bind us is greater than what divide us.
Abakaliki you are denying today is more bigger, develop and are in better position than wherever you come from.

First of all, I'm happy you enjoyed your stay in Afikpo. Akanu Ibiam is from Uwana in Afikpo North. I'm sure she said he is from Arochukwu because Afikpo was part of the old Aro(chukwu) constituency alongside places towns in Abia like Arochukwu, Ohafia, Abam and Abiriba who constituted Aro constituency. Also Afikpo was part of Abia state before the merging with Abakaliki to form Ebonyi state.
