dont expect any arrears for now. N if Wike wins just remove ur mind from it. We were told at Head Teachers meeting with board chairman on monday that they choose recruitment n prompt payment of salaries over promotion since d system lacks teachers n d pupils are suffering n that if d govt carries out d two, they will begin to owe salaries. secondly that those that weren't paid feb n march 2016 were those that had biometric issues. N dat even if d promotion will be implemented later that no arrears will be paid. Head Teachers were angry but what can they do? Only God will fight us.

Oga God can never and will never come down and fight for you OK! Promotion of workers is a legal right and not a privilege OK! If governor wike the useless"talk and do" cannot promote workers then vite him out and stop collecting money to vote him back in. I'm just tired!
Useless country we find ourselves promotion in government is a RIGHT

Imagine a useless statement from Rivers state government ... "We prefer to recruit and pay promptly than to promote workers"

What a nonsense ! Yet people like YOU will still endorse this government for second tenure. Vote wike out if you can

If it's true that no promotion before election, and no payment of February and March arrears salaries before election, then I pray for down fall of PDP government in Rivers state come 2019 general election, that means APC should prepare to take over.
I will personal vote against PDP if promotion didn't come before election.. Also that mean that the recruitment they are about to do is fake.
That is, they will start the process without finishing it, the same way Bayelsa does their own.

How can someone living in port Harcourt (urban area) be transfered to a typical Ogoni village ? How will he cope with transportation ? What a nonsense
good question, you should also ask, how people in rural areas have been COPING with transportation challenges till now

As for me and my house, we have decided to vote PDP out. Nothing good comes from them. Imagine Engineer like me suffering in my own rich state.

.....and there are so many engineers in this teaching system. Its quite a pity. The government would have devised a means of absorbing engineering professionals that are teaching into the engineering ministry or they can enroll them into a training program that will help them get absorbed by the engineering companies in Rivers state.

Elections comes with wind, the wind will be heater once after the primary election which is next month been October.
There will be confusion in all camp (party ).
Promise upon promises will be going on.
Believe me promotion must come whether governor like it now or not, in the midst of election confusion he must transmission the transfusion and trans-promotion the promotion of all the Rivers state civil servants.
Let's watch and see how the governor will dance to the tone of election confusion music.
We need not to worry, we will soon enter the period of politicians desperate move to win election at all cost, and promotion is one of the cost they must pay to earn the workers support.

Voting out is our language, my voters card is ever ready.
We will try another set of politicians ( another party at state level if nothing good is coming out from the current one).
1. Am still expecting my 2016 February arrear salary.
2. Am still expecting my long overdue promotion.
3. Am still expecting the interest free promised revolving loan from government we applied for.
In all these my voters card is seriously watching.
The 3 Rivers state senatorial districts are now control by APC senators, this by now will be sending signal to PDP state control government to look for workers support.

I did not have biometric issues, it was Bvn issues. Most of us owed that Feb and march arrears was because our account officers did not include our Bvn on the vouchers prepared. The governor made a declaration in Feb 2016, that only workers with Bvn will be paid hence, we were affected . never the less, it wasn't our fault, we should be paid, salaries are rights of workers. The notice for Bvn submission was so short. My voters card is my right and any governor getting into government house is a privilege. If I don't exercise that voting right, he might not enjoy that privilege. I hope they understand that analogy. Every dissatisfied worker is tied to a dissatisfied adult child, family member, friend, trader, landlord, etc. It can alter the voting pattern and strength. Am sure the road they are constructing will do the voting while I dey chill for my house.

Nigeria is in a mess no leaders we all have cheaters look at how all of them are rushing and hustling for 2019 election..... on a final note we need to change our orientation u know that good man... Mr Sammy,I understand your plight toward the Nigeria issue,I want to differ a little especially in the area of prompt payment of salary, even the bible said and I qoute "labourer is entitle to his wages" we need to know that salary is our right as workers and nobody I mean nobody can deniel the workers that, if you doubt ask Ayo Fayoshi of Ekiti state. So nobody should commend wike for paying salary promptly,it is in called for cause the people are wiser now.

If you ask me, I think we are in a deep shit in these country. Everything is not right with the way our leaders are leading us, and the only solution is change in altitude of the citizenry. Until we change nothing will change.

Resumption DOSAGE!!!

*THINK OUTSIDE YOUR JOB*

*The richest people in the world are not salary earners.*

*The richest people in the world are not with 1 source of income, but multiple source of income.*

*It is not a crime to be a salary earner, but it is a crime if you can not take from your salary to create a plan B that will be another source of income for you. THINK and make the choice to be WISE.*

*Make your plan B source of income today.*

*Sow when others are sowing!!*
*Reap when others are reaping!!*
Look for what works for you and invest in it!
Or you can join me, if you want.

* Good morning My Distinguished Colleagues and happy resumption.
