Hello all,
Just a brief advice for all who have submitted their passport for visa. Do not the book your flight tickets till you get your passport back. The consulate is swamped and it might take more than the 7 days stated on the AM email for you to get your passport back after submission. I was lucky to get mine a day before I travelled after waiting for 10 days. Saw some guys who submitted same time or even a day earlier than mine and they hadn't got their passport sent back to them yet.

You can use your German student insurance if you have one already to collect your visa. I submitted my Mawista insurance for this. I didn't buy any additional travel insurance.

Reporting live from Mittweida with heybaby.
This our community is awesome. For only serious people to uphold the good reputation that one Nigerian guy has kept here for few years now.

Advice to all of us coming to Germany, please come here and act right because your actions can make people to believe Nigerians are GREAT people or bad.

One love and please God let AM drop for my bros and sisters.

Kindly please take your time and go and renew your passport, I'm in that dilemma as we speak, embassy sent me a mail asking me to get a new one that would last more than 6months after entering Germany.

So please, thank God I still have little time n can sort that as quick as possible but try and act so you don't fall into this same error

Please when I get, I should submit it with the old one when asked to submit my passport?

quote author=agofineboy post=71055027]Please I need a response to this...

I did my interview recently with my old passport that will expire in 6 months time.

When the AM arrives, should I use the old passport for my Visa and renew when I get to Germany... Which will be more hectic...

Or...

What do you suggest I do....

Please respond

Guys, I need your advice please. I have read through the thread and prepared everything to apply for summer semester. My only problem is my CGPA. I need to know if I have a chance at gaining MSc admission with a CGPA of 2.46. If not, what other choices do I have?

Please respond. Thank you.

[quote author=otunbanimi post=71042607]Good day all!

Any one with a hint?
Can I request that the English as a medium of study from unilag be sent to my email address?

Ist- It should be addressed to your school address on the admission letter.
2nd- You have to receive the letter handy because it bears the original school stamp and seal depending on your school. That's how mine is

It's too early to start spending as much as that on winter jackets o. Look for a primark store around you.. you can still get a good one between €15-€25.. you can check their online store and order if the store around your location has the e-commerce arm..

I mentioned primark cos I know they sell budget fast fashion. You can as well check other fast fashion stores online such as H&M.. but sure you can't spend up to €50 sha

uchezdedon:

50-100€. U might get it cheaper when there is angebot.

Read through the thread. Kudos to good men helping us out here. #ThumbsUp
Gained admission to EUROMPM-BW , Fachhochschule Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts this year. But really the admission came too late. So, the timeline was just too short to get myself together to finance a German Block account with €8640.
Cos I got the admission letter last week of August, I'm expected to be in Germany between 1st and 30th September and course work starts 15th October.
Finally, I had no choice than to let go of the admission.
Now, I'm preparing preparing towards 2019.
Googled lots of German scholarships, ended up confused. I would like anyone to assist with a German scholarship that has been working and can work for me.
Thanks

Can I write a new waec exam as a science student to apply?

I did arts subjects in current waec.

What other options aside Waec, I tried looking up GCE A-LEVELS.

I'm applying for undergraduate courses.
B.Eng Mechatronics.

I'll need all your advice.

Uncle I guess the reason you haven't had any response from anyone is maybe because no one knows the answer to the question

According to what I have heard and read on nairaland, the requirements for Bsc admission is you need to have at least 100L transcript from a university in Nigeria so if you're not a graduate yet, try to enrol into NOUN and get your first year transcript

As for A levels, unfortunately I have no idea about that but you can do your research on that yourself.

Send a mail to the school you intend to study with in Germany and make enquiries on the requirements. Also check your school's website for the requirements. If you had gone through this process, I don't even think you need to be asking anyone any question on nairaland

Nobody will do it for you, you have to do the hard work yourself uncle. Make Google and Daad your bestfriend

All the best
Hello Bro, please I finished from a university in Nigeria in 2015, and I want to start Undergrad afresh in Germany. I have my school transcript with me. Can I use that same transcript (Just 100L) to apply for admission in a germany? Is it going to work?
