In my opinion he should apply to go for his training in October while she does her houston stuff.
It only means they are not going to apply together so as to make it clear of their different activities.

Thanks @Chibertha. She will apply after he has gotten his visa.

it's very obvious VO go through "these" thread. because before now when the preggers go in for their interview and state that daddy will be coming to assist when baby comes.

most transcripts then you see them getting the visas but these days I see REFUSALS.
HOWEVER, mothers on this journey I greet you all it will turn out to be blessing for our kids.

another thing is travel history, these days it plays a role in your visa application but that doesn't mean it will apply to everyone or its compulsory. Same yesterday, someone still got her medical visa.

Finally met my LO.
I travelled from Lagos via Turkish airline on August 3rd, my POE was JFK amd hassle free. The CBP was just smiling with me, in my mind, i was like this one want to toast pregnant woman. He only asked me how long i will be staying, i told him 10 weeks.
I connected American Airline to Houston. My host was kind enough to pick me from the airport. I got her contact from someone on this thread.
My baby girl was delivered by Dr X at HNWMC last week Thursday. The pain no be here ooo.
I'm on documents parole now, I can't wait to return home. Thanks to everyone that I pm and gave me useful information. God bless you all.

Hello house,

Please I need some advice .....

I gave birth in dallas TX in 2013

After that I have visited twice with my baby and back to Nigeria.

I did drop box when my visa expired but I didnt travel with it

Now I want to visit again for child birth but I'm going to Houston this time. I am filling my form for drop box

I want to confirm, in the DS160 there is a question I answered in my previous forms "contact person in the US"
My Ans: I put the details of the dallas host and relationship: relative

Q: "Do you have any other relatives in the US"
My Ans: No

In my new form since am going to Houston now....at first i put the contact of the Houston host as my contact person in the US but when I got to the question of do u have any other relatives....I was thinking if i say 'yes they might feel but in my previous forms I said no.

And if i say no...they might think then how come I have a new contact this time. The Houston host and I have the same surname.

What do you advise pls?

Congratulations, did you book the connecting flight over the counter when you arrived JFK or you did the booking from here, did you spend the night somewhere before continuing your journey to Houston or you immediately connected. Based on your experience would you advise to immediately fly to Houston or rest in a place and continue the journey the following day.

Errrmmm, I think you can attend interview next year, just book before the validity elapses. Better still, call the embassy to re-confirm

I booked my AA flight from Nigeria. It depends on how energetic you are, but I stayed in a hotel in NYC and continued my journey to Houston the next day. NYC to Houston is 5 hours including 1 hour layover at Charlotte.

Hello mums,
Please my sister booked an appointment at Abuja to come and help me with my toddler and new born. Is that a good reason to be given a visa?

Irrespective of the fact that the Houston host has your last name which might be a coincidence
That said
Are you related ,
if yes state it as it is.
Let's say you just found out the person was there or just got there.

If not related state business.
That is what I would do.

Thank you, I have gone through the site but still have some questions.
1.Am I to fill the DS160 form or is there another form for dropbox?
2.Is there a particular address format to the DHL drop point?

You see that S that is missing from ustraveldocS on the website above? That could be recipe for disaster. This is why Google is said always to be our friend.

Start first, every other thing will unfold itself. You must fill a DS160, and as you try to schedule an appointment, your understanding will be helped most definitely by the process.

I think you should always be consistent when dealing with US visa form filling. However, if there are some changes in your host, you should state it with explanation i.e if there is a space for explanation. All the best
