From MY perspective, I'm sure some others would have other relevant tips, I believe the cardinal point to make here is that a salesperson should ALWAYS know (assumption that you're female) her merchandise.

You need to know what you're advertising. In sales, ignorance is not bliss. Assumptions will get you in hot water all the time.

Car purchases are significant life decisions for most people, keep that in mind.

Let's assume a dealer, Mr Valentine, imports a Honda Accord, and sends you pictures, or invites you to see the vehicle and take your own pictures for your advert, if you'd really want to be exceptional and upright, don't just take his word for it when he tells you it's a 2010 Honda Accord, or that it's a clean title, or that it's had no accidents or wasn't flood damaged, or that the displayed mileage is the real mileage.

You need to independently verify these things. A VIN Check will arm you with the facts you need, and give you the confidence to make these claims and assertions about the vehicles with confidence. You may think, 'so I'd run VIN Checks for vehicles I may even end up not selling, or may not earn a commission from'.

To which my response would be that I believe any enterprise has running or recurrent costs. What better expenditure can a salesperson make than expenditure to know exactly what they're advertising?

You'd also need some basic automotive knowledge. You don't necessarily need to be Rich Rebuilds, but don't be like the fellows here that advertise a vehicle with a "V4" engine, or "20 inch alloy wheels" on a stock Toyota Corolla. It doesn't exactly create the best impression about you.

If you'd post adverts online, make your adverts professional, not mediocre like chibecan and his 1879 pinhole camera. Take a look at the first 2 comments on the advert below

Though as far as I'm concerned that advert is factually deficient and the seller and I will likely have a disagreement in the very near future, the pictures are professional. They don't necessarily need to be edited or enhanced to hide defects, just professional.

If you cannot do that, at least don't use a Polaroid camera like cgc and Chibecanglobal.

As you make progress you will gain some experience. Always remember, if a deal seems too good to be true, it usually isn't(true).

I intend getting a Nigerian used honda accord 2007 (DC). During the course of test-driving the car, i noticed that when you on the AC, the engine will start vibrating causing the car to jerk and also the outside temperature instantly moves from 0 to 1. As soon as the AC is turned off, the car stops vibrating, the temperature moves from 1 back to 0, everything becomes normal. Please i want to ask,

What is the cause?
Do you still advice i go ahead and purchase the car?
How can the issue be rectified?

Yayyyy.....i finally bought my golf 4

Went all the way from Port harcourt to Delta state to pick it up, drove it back to Port Harcourt myself. I must say, the car is amazing, love the balance on the ground, love the control, very low fuel consumption. Its a 1.6 Engine (Manual transmission)

Now here's the problem
I used only 4 gears all through the 7 hour journey, hereby limiting my speed. Gear 5 refused to work all through, don't know why

I'm hoping it's a minor issue, what could be the cause?

Gazzuzz so am about to get a corolla and I have two options.One 05 sport with 203k mileage as seen in VIN report and one 07 LE with 115k mileage also from VIN.
05 had only one user all through while 07 had 4 users and sometimes on lease based on the carfax report.No serìous accidents on both cars just minor bumps so am hearing mileage is not a concern and am a spoiler for alloys and fog lamps which the 07 does not have.please can you advise or give your opinion.both are going for 1.85m.thank you..

My 2003 Acura MDX transponder key icon flashes continuously when the SUV is turned on. What could be the cause?

Also, sometimes it starts at once when the ignition is turned on and other times it does not come on immediately, what can be responsible for this?

Oga Gazzuz pls I need valued input on this. Lately my car honda civic 07 vibrates as if the engine wants to go off when am in a slow moving traffic or standstill traffic If the AC is on but doesn't vibrate when in motion. I had my kazeem check it out yesterday, he cleaned the injector and the fuel pump but the problem still persists. Please what could be the cause of this.
