My family eventually didn't have to travel with me in June. I informed cic via mail about the fact they were on holiday and asked if they could have their medical in the states which was permitted.
Medical for them was at Stat medical clinic, FL.

The love here is extraordinary. I got the best advice from total strangers. I am indeed grateful.

Happytbaby, thanks so much. Your written words made a huge impact in my life.

May all our dreams come true.

Congratulations. Pls for those of us that have gotten their PPR. did you send only the biography page of your international passport or all the pages after you were ITA.
You mean scan all the pages? Unless there's travel info on all the pages, why would you do that? The instructions are clear. Scan the bio page and any other pages with visas and stamps. You have no business scanning empty pages.

I would advise the OP to seek legal separation to avoid acrimonious stories... What does that even mean?

Good morning seniors,

Please i saw something on misrepresentation posted here yesterday.

And one of the things i read was ‘failure to notify that you applied for visa can count as misrepresentation “.

I applied for a visa first week in August, then my husband did the whole PR thing and we just submitted this September (meaning he is the PA, not me).

However, we didn’t state that i applied for visa (we didn’t think it necessary because my application is still pending, im NOT the PA and I haven’t been granted or denied the visa) .

But ive been advised that hubby should raise a CSE just to be on the on the safe side. Now in raising this CSE, we came across this “Is your application is being processed inside or outside Canada”. Do we click yes or no? Im confused on whether they mean where we are applying from, or where our VO is (which i dont know).

Please kindly respond. Thank you all

I believe it should be where you are applying from. Requirements for TRV vary depending on which country you are applying from.

Some highlights from this page: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/questions-answers-by-topic.asp?st=3.2

What is a complex permanent residence application?
If your application is complex, it may take us longer than normal processing times to process your application.

Your application may be more complex if:

the contact information on file (address, telephone, email) is outdated and we can’t contact you or a family member
we requested more documents and they weren’t submitted on time, or at all
your dependant(s) turned 18 since you applied
you added dependant(s) to your application since you applied
your dependant(s) got married and/or had children of their own since you applied
you provided legal documents to confirm a change to your marital status, or about child custody
you or your family member were asked to resubmit a medical exam because one expired (exams for every person must all be valid at the same time)
you or a family member were asked to appear for an interview
you or a family member might not be eligible
background checks are still in progress for you or your family members

Why are there differences in processing times among regions and offices?
Visa offices face different challenges operating in different countries and regions, and even in different offices within the same region.

We may move applications between our offices to make sure they are processed as efficiently as possible. Your application may not be processed at the office closest to where you live or where you submitted your application.

Processing times may vary based on:

the type of application submitted
if the application is complete
how quickly we process applications we’ve already received
how easily we can verify your information
how long you take to respond to any request or concerns
other factors

How can I avoid delays or refusals in processing my application?
To help avoid delays or a refusal, make sure that you:

carefully read the application guide for your immigration category and follow the instructions;
properly fill out, sign and date the application form(s);
if required, provide biometrics (fingerprints and photos) as soon as possible within 30 days of receiving the request;
include all the required documents as indicated on the application checklist;
pay the right fee using the correct method of payment;
include the payment with your application; and
double-check your application before submitting it.

Things that can cause delays:

Your medical and security screening takes longer than usual
We need to interview you
You communicate with us by mail instead of using an online account
You don’t respond to our requests for information quickly
High numbers of applications

Hello everyone,
I have gone through this thread, but I still have some unanswered questions which I will really appreciate if I can get answers to them.

1- Do I have to evaluate my waec certificate together with my degree certificate?
2- how can I pay for Wes evaluation online
3- I'm single, 23yrs, I have bachelor degree in civil engineering and I can claim two years work experience..what's my chance with experience entry

I will really appreciate quick response.

p. s : if you will like to help a brother, please my mail is aoykawu@gmail.com..i really need guidance, I don't want to make mistakes.

You haven't gone through the thread. If you have, you would know that its only WES that requires waec certificate to evaluate Nigerian degrees. If you have gone through the thread, you wont even ask the no.2 question. For no.3, use the crs calculator, input your information and simulate IELTS scores (I am guessing you haven't taken IETLS exam) aiming for an overall minimum CRS score of 440.

SILENT READER HERE! CLEAR ROAD PLS!! PARDON THE LATE AND LONG POST! Single applicant here!

My first IELTS was September, 2017. Speaking was fine but on the day of LRW, my village people sat by the bonfire and stirred the pot well. Guess what? I woke up 10am! I did not bother to go again, just went online to book another date in december. Till today, I still wonder how I didn't hear my alarm ring. But petty IELTS had the guts to courier my result to me ..average of 2.0 smh! lol

Anyway, second attempt results came out December 15th, I maxed out the scores LSWR (8.5,8.0,7.5,8.5) and entered pool same day with CRS score 441. Every fortnight, my heart will beat fast but tie-breaking rule didn't want me to be great. So I used that opportunity to gather docs, got my office reference letter, opened an investment account with my bank cos i planned to use 100percent gift deed.

After 5months, I got ITA in May 23, 2018. Went for medicals in June, Oga moshood to d rescue for PCC. Submitted July 6th.

Timeline:
Submission and AOR - July 6th
MEP: July 21 (on a saturday fa) ...No mail o, I just make sure I log in once everyday
ADR: August 6th (My intl passport had 5months left on it so they requested for a new one)
The rush for a new passport carried me to ogun state and I got it within 24hours.
ADR submitted August 8th
ADR changed to N/A the same day
Background check started processing: August 11th
No ghost update oh, Just pret pour visa mail PPR: August 15th.
Submitted pp at Vfs: August 17th
Picked up pp at Vfs: September 12th

Thought it was a scam, HOW CAN ONE GET PPR IN 38DAYS, na so I send am give my besty, she confirmed it was ppr fa.
My cic profile just got updated to "approved" last thursday with the counterfoil and still no mail to alert me...lol.

Docs Submitted:
* IELTS (BC didn't include my middle name, people suggested I get affidavit, I never did) cos I honestly didn't think it would cause issue...it didn't!
* ECA and Degree certificate
* Bank reference letter and investment account (NO ACCOUNT statement was submitted)
* Work reference letter and I.D card (People also insisted I submit pay slips, I DID NOT!...Keep it simple guys)
* PCC
* Medicals form.
* NO LOE to explain the names o.

@dvash thanks for the moral support from my drop off to pick up. lol! This thread has helped me a lot!! I'm very grateful! God is great!
