hey mamas I just stumbled upon this trend, I have been reading every for close to 6hrs now, and googling about Bara for detoxification brought me here, Am a Nigerian though I live in Abidjan with my hubby, it's been more than 3years on this GTC journey and I must say it's not been easy, am actually on the cross road now where I refuse to pray and when Dh starts talking I will reply him saying "Ask your God to ANSWER the ones I have been praying since na" he will just pray on his own, Yes am tired and exhausted, I don't even want to go into details of what we have been through so far, but being in a French speaking country is not making it easy, I always think things would be better if we where back home, where I can understand the Doctors well, thank you All for dragging me back to my kneels with your testimonies, I pray my stay here will be short.

I went to Lab for follicular tracking as I intended but the Lab Scientist advised me that it's better to do hormonal profile to check my hormones before deciding to track my follicles. He said that some people do jump into tracking without knowing the state of their hormones and if done, sometimes the egg may not be seen and d person has already spent money for d tracking. U can only know ur ovarian reserve through d hormonal profile. He advised dat if the hormones are checked and found in order, then I can now track my follicles. He said if I still intend to do d tracking, he can do it for me but it's better he explains everything in details 4 me. He said he charges 2k for each tracking. The hormonal profile cost 10k for two times ie during d menstrual period and after ovulation and Hsg costs 13k. He said if am to check my hormones, I should come on CD18 and CD2 as am having a 25days cycles(though i use to calculate it as 26days oo not knowing i've been miscalculating it since). The man asked me whether i would make payment today or come on d said CD18 wt d money, I told him am not with such amount. As we finished d discussion, I jejely carry my humble sef out of d place. I don really waka tire because of TTC. See me wey don budget 2k for d tracking na him I come dey hear 10k . Hmmmmm! Where u see d money. E no easy ooo! Just getting tired of everything sef

It is well mama. I plan on going to the lab tomorrow for follicular tracking though I haven't done hormonal profile or hsg. I don't have money for that now. I'm working with budget now. It is well, God will see us through.

U are wlc, may your stay be short and fruitful, pls work with your gynea, he will prescribe drugs for PID, you can also type PID on the search space, so u can see what oda mamas have used in the past to conquer PID

there z NO how ur culture results ll say no bacterial growth where as u were diagnosed pid according to ur scan.please it's either u repeat the culture test or u repeat the scan somewhere else to know where the mistake is from

PLEASE REPEAT THE HVS AND URINE CULTURE
Was the HVS done properly? It is usually done in the morning before inserting your finger to wash your vg. You just take your bath and scrub the external/outer part of your vg.it is best they collect the swap themselves/lab technician.then for the urine analysis, it is done first thing in the morning, after holding urine for some hours or without urinating for some hours.You collect the first urine in the morning.Only open the tube when u want to drop the sample. If there's infection, from the hvs/urine culture it will show. The culture will show some anti biotics that the infection is sensitive to. With that, the PID can be treated. finish the anti biotics and injections



After all that , you can take agbo and another potent herb is gynapharm(KEDI PRODUCT). get trusted agbo to flush your system. Your hubby should also go for urine/semen analysis. Don't treat your self alone.

Some mild natural anti biotics are bitterleaf,scent leaf, garlic and ginger.Please don't take English drugs and herbs at the same time. Also possible you just finished your period and your Pouch of Douglas (POD) has some fluid meaning there's no infection. You can also run your pelvic scan again. If not satisfied please seek a second opinion at a different lab/hospital. Hope the information above is useful?

I have been reading through this page and observing and felt that it is my time to write and contribute.

I recently just got married and haven’t really been ttc, let me just say it was only last month I did close to my ovulation about 2 days before and maybe in the 5 months we got married, like a month or so but we weren’t ttc at all.

My problem here is I had ovarian cysts 2 years ago but I don’t think it was anything serious as my period was still very regular and still etc... Fast forward, they said endotriomas but I should just try for children naturally since I don’t have the symptoms and my period is very regular. The other issue is my husband did his spermicide analysis 3 months ago and it came back as low sperm count but no shaking since we had to up our diet and this Fertil M.

I really do not want to any laparoscopy or surgery yet because I believe people can conceive naturally with endometriosis and even low sperm count.

Please any advice here or success stories.

My ttc journey for a second baby started in april after my first turned a year & six months in March.
As usual we bd in may but my period came, in June I bought omega 369 nd started taking till ovulation nd I stoped, my period still came.

Then in July I hd hormonal assay done because even
after weaning my baby, I still bring out milk when I press, the result came back that my prolsctin was a bit high with 30, I placed myself on bromegon nd had a hvs done which revealed a scanty growth of staph, I treated it with cef iv, my period still came even though we bd.

Then came August, I decided to let God be God by stoping all medications, I prayed my rosary everyday, visited the blessed sacrament in the chapel nd attend weekly masses, we bd during ovulation nd after I started taking vit b complex one tablet morning nd evening, zinc tablet 20mg daily for ten days nd vit c I000mg and Viola !! I missed my period. I tested today circle day 29 nd saw two red lines staring at me mamas.

Glory to God. May the same God who saw you through the first one, show up again this time as he guides you to a safe delivery with ease

the prices are fair, thats about the cheapest i have even seen.the labman made some points, but its not 100% u folo his advice, n u get to spend 4k or 6k in tracking, 2 or 3 times, since ur cycle is 25days, u would be ovulating around cd 11/cd 12.....so u can start tracking on cd 8, from the size of the follicles, u can now decide when to go for the next tracking.
btw what do u want to achieve by tracking?, you intend to trigger?, or u just want to know if you ovulate?

Thanks mama. I think I have short leutal phase cos I usually feel ovulation pain around cd 15/16. Ewcm has disappeared for few months now and refused to resurface despite all that I've tried. It appeared when I was treating infection wt hubby and later disappeared into thin air.
Regarding ur question, I just want to know if I'm actually ovulating or not.
