If you're already seeing a gynae, its advisable to take it to him/her, if you're not satified with the hospital you're using u can change. Government hospitals are very good, relatively cheaper and have qualified doctors & consultants.

Otherwise, take it to a good pharmacy. A certified pharmacist can handle this easily.

So after the birthday, I have decided to start seeing a new gyn, since the last one all he does is to give me clomid for 4months straight despite the fact that my enemies have big fibroids. For 3months now I have been off all medications even folic acidic, I believe my system is ready now.

I need recommendations from port Harcourt mamas on BMH hospital

please Advice will be well appreciated, last year I treated excess prolactin with vitex for two cycles, after the first cycle on Vitex the lactating stopped, (28days cycle), on the 2nd one it messed up the circle at 35 days no period, had every sign still negative, went to the the Dr had a scan, he found fibroids, my last scan before then, fabroid was also seen, he prescribed progesterone to bring period, after the period returned I decided to rest from pills for two months, I calculate my period from CM and lower abdominal pain, I have never been wrong, it comes 14days after the pain(Ov) it last for 3 to 4hrs with a lot of CM.
After that I and my DH decided to see gynea(highly recommended ), am still learning French so Dh sat there and talked like "my wife got a problem not me" lol when the Dr said , we will check the both of you. he had the "what for" look on his face, I did HSG it was cleared, the guy congratulated us in Advance cos it was done at day 10, he was sure my ovulation was on the way from his scans, Uterus was empty, how the fabroids disappeared I don't know, the Bombshell came my Dh was diagnosed of low sperm count (36milion) caused by chlamydia, Dr said it was no big deal, placed us on same anti boitics despite me not testing positive to it, added natura Gold to help him opt his sperm counts after treatment, i did hormonal too Pcos was ruled out, i was also given primolut nor for 3months that was in April. we did all that, though I took primolut for 2months only and swinged to tired of pills mood.
At that period I tried Clomid for the first time, had my Ov at day 15 and sure enough period came calling 14days later. I don't know what to make of all this maybe the chlamydia is not entirely gone? or the SC is still too low I really don't understand, I decided to take a break again and my period messed up, Ovulated at day 14, day 28 I cramped all day that I wore pad yet no show, 7days after still testing ve-, exactly 6weeks I started spotting even with all the pineapple it has refuse to come normal. please anybody has experienced something like this? we planning to go back to the Doctor but am thinking of taking break for the rest of the year, my mind seems to be wandering.

My sister be very careful with clomid, that drug made the lining of my womb tiny. I took it only once and it delayed my period, made it scanty and thinned the lining of my womb.

Although vitamin e solved the problem. I even have the other half of the clomid in my drugs bag and just the sight of the drug makes me angry. I got pregnant after the scanty period but lost it. I guess it had to do with the lining of the womb.


Have you tried vitex? It really works.

Why not use UPTH? The consultants are there and they have lots of specialists amongst them.

I don't have anything against Bmh though,
I just feel you will be in more qualified/experienced hands at upth.

I think you have tried with all you have done. You guys should go back and check if the chlamydia has gone and also check the sperm again. If the doctor certifies that you guys are okay. Then just chill, baby will come as long as there is no problem.

I know you have prayed enough, but just continue. Take your folic acid, do your part and leave the rest to God.

Are you sure belle has not entered, this one that period is late and you cramped on the day of your period. Just wait a little bit and do a blood test instead.

Why I choose BMH is because its close to my house, I can walk down, UPTH too is good, my sister delivered all her three children there not minding the distance though they "hold" small, but am considering distance and sometimes transport, I stay at Old GRA.

Pls, I need your candid advise on d issue bothering me now. Hubby ran a culture and sfa test around May ending and was diagnosed of scanty growth of staph, low sperm count and low motility. The morphology was 70% then. We ignored treating it wt othordox medicine cos we've done dat severally wt cipro and others but still not cured. We tried herbal for some days and I bought oligocare, addyzoa, zinc, vit c, b complex and folic acid for him. He was on those medications until d middle of last month that one woman started treating us herbally. As of now, we don't even know if d drugs helped or not as we're yet to receive good news. I'm just confused on what to do now though we're still on d herbal medicine. Should we just quit d herbal medicine and treat d infection wt d drugs written on sensitivity as at last three months? Is it too late to use d result as it has gotten up to three months? Or should we run another test to know if there s any improvement or not?
Mamas, pls ur advice will go a long way.

too late to rely on the last result, best to do another sfa+mcs..not that expensive 2k to 4k, that would even tell you if the herbal worked or not. from the sfa result, you now treat using english medicine, if infection still there, i wud suggest you also undergo hvs/urine culture..so both of you could be treated same time..abstain from sex during treatment, or use condom if you no fit hol body
